Every week we bring you a list of the top former Gaels players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. Lamont Jones (6'0''-PG-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Germany) could not help MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg (6-10) in their last game. Despite his good performance MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg lost 80-86 on the road to the lower-ranked (#14) BG Goettingen. Jones scored 13 points and added 7 assists in 29 minutes. The Regular Season already ended. Jones has relatively good stats this year 12.5ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.5apg in 31 games he played so far.

   #2. David Laury (6'9''-F/C-90, graduated '15, plays in Puerto Rico) was not able to help Brujos de Guayama in their game against Leones (13-12) in the Puerto Rican BSN. Despite his good performance on Saturday night Laury recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting the same number of rebounds. He also added 3 assists. Laury has relatively good stats this season 13.3ppg, 9.3rpg and 2.0apg.

   #3. Zach Lewis (6'3''-G-94, graduated '18, currently in Switzerland) was not able to secure a victory for Boncourt (2-2) in their game against Fribourg (5-0) in the Swiss SBL, despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game. Lewis was the second best scorer with 22 points. He also added 6 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 38 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Lewis' first season in pro basketball. But the third-placed Boncourt (2-2) was crushed 90-67 at home by the leading Fribourg in the Places 7-11 group. Lewis has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 21.0ppg, 5.1rpg, 4.9apg and 2.3spg in 27 games.

   #4. Experienced Kiril Wachsmann (6'8''-C-84, graduated '06, plays pro in Argentina) managed to help Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos to win against the seventh-ranked Gimnasia (14-23) 84-76 in the Argentinian La Liga in Friday night's game. He scored 5 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos (15-23) is placed 16th in the La Liga. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Wachsmann averages 3.3ppg and 4.4rpg. He has also Uruguayan passport.

   #5. Isaiah Williams (6'7''-G/F-92, graduated '16, plays in Switzerland) contributed to Neuchatel's victory against the fifth-ranked Lakers (2-3) 84-71 in the Swiss SBL last Tuesday. Williams recorded 8 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in 36 minutes. Union Neuchatel Basket (2-3) is placed third in Places 1-6 group. It's Williams' first season with the team. This year he averages 10.0ppg, 7.1rpg, 2.4apg and 1.7spg in 30 games.

   #6. Tariq Kirksay (6'7''-F-79, graduated '00, currently in France) couldn't help FOS Provence Basket in their game against Cholet Basket in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. He scored 5 points. His team was badly defeated by 16 points 99-83. This season Kirksay averages 4.1ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.4apg. He is a naturalized French.

   #7. Evangelos Bebis (6'6''-PG-95, graduated '15, plays pro in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Kavala 55-37 in the Greek A2 (second division) in Thursday night's game. He recorded only 2 points in 19 minutes. This year Bebis averages 8.8ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg in 30 games.

   #8. Bryan Matthew (6'5''-F-76, graduated '97, plays in Antigua) was the major contributor in a Cutie Ovals Ojays' victory against the eighth-ranked HS Outlaws 96-78 in the Antiguan ABBA last Saturday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 12 rebounds. Matthew also added 3 assists and 5 steals. This season he has very high stats. Matthew averages 19.8ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.4apg and 1.9spg.
