EuroBasket Pro Blue Devils Weekly Update

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Blue Devils players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. Experienced Javier Mojica (6'3''-SG-84, graduated '07, plays pro in Puerto Rico) led Vaqueros de Bayamon to a victory against the closely-ranked Cariduros (14-14) 103-90 in the Puerto Rican BSN on Friday night. He scored 20 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 33 minutes. Vaqueros de Bayamon (12-12) is placed sixth in the BSN. Mojica has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 18.0ppg, 3.2rpg and 3.4apg. Mojica is a naturalized Puerto Rican.

   #2. Kyle Vinales (6'1''-G-92, graduated '15, plays in Puerto Rico) could not help Brujos de Guayama (12-14) in their last game. Despite Vinales' very good performance Brujos de Guayama was edged 71-68 on the road by the league outsider (#9) Indios. He was the top scorer with 23 points. It was Brujos de Guayama's fourth consecutive loss in a row. Vinales has relatively good stats this year 10.9ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.4apg in 10 games he played so far. He is a naturalized Puerto Rican.

   #3. Kenneth Horton (6'7''-F-89, graduated '12, currently in Kazakhstan), who plays in Kazakhstan was not able to help Astana (15-11) in their game last Friday. Despite his very good performance Astana was defeated 88-81 at home by the higher-ranked Khimki (#3). Horton scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 33 minutes. It's Horton's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.8ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.4apg and 1.6spg.

   #4. Khalen Cumberlander (6'3''-G, graduated '17, plays pro in Portugal) contributed to Ovarense's victory against the fourth-ranked Lusitania (16-16) 68-63 in the Portuguese LPB on Thursday night. He recorded 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Ovarense Dolce Vita (15-17) is placed fifth in Places 1-6 group. It's Cumberlander's first season with the team. Cumberlander has relatively good stats this year 13.4ppg, 4.4rpg, 4.2apg and 1.9spg in 29 games.

Tidell Pierre (6'7''-F-94) played for Centro Deportivo Rivadavia de Mendoza in Argentinian La Liga Argentina few monts ago
Corsley Edwards (6'9''-C/F-79) played for Ball Hogs in the Big3 last year
