EuroBasket Pro Rams Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Rams alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Delroy James (6'8''-F-87, graduated '11, plays pro in Greece) led AEK to an easy victory against the league outsider Kolossos HH (4-21) crushing them 106-69 in the Greek A1 on Wednesday night.
He scored 13 points and added 5 passes in 24 minutes.
AEK Athens (18-8) is placed third in the A1.
It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses.
The Regular Season already ended.
This season James averages 8.2ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.7apg.
He is a naturalized Guyanese.
#2. Hassan Martin (6'7''-F-95, graduated '17, plays in Germany) could not help medi Bayreuth (14-20) in their last game. Despite his very good performance medi Bayreuth lost 85-100 on the road to the higher-ranked (#8) Braunschweig.
Martin was the second best scorer with 21 points. He also added 7 rebounds and 3 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Martin's second season in pro basketball. It was medi Bayreuth's fifth consecutive loss in a row.
The Regular Season already ended.
Martin has relatively good stats this year 13.8ppg, 6.3rpg and 2.0bpg in 18 games he played so far.
#3. Nikola Malesevic (6'8''-F-89, graduated '13, currently in Hungary) was the major contributor in Szolnok's victory against the fourth-ranked JP-Auto JKSE (18-15) 85-68 in the Hungarian A Division last Saturday.
Malesevic recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 11 rebounds in 22 minutes.
Szolnoki Olajbanyasz KK (23-10) is placed third in Places 1-5 group.
His team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And that game will be critical.
Malesevic has relatively good stats this season 12.7ppg, 6.5rpg and 2.5apg.
#4. Kuran Iverson (6'9''-F-95, graduated '17, plays pro in New Zealand) was not able to help Manawatu Jets (1-4) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Manawatu Jets were edged 106-104 in Wellington by the leading Saints.
Iverson had a double-double by scoring 31 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 4 assists and 6 steals (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!); not bad, considering it's only Iverson's second season in pro basketball. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
It's Iverson's first year with the team.
He has individually a very good season with high stats. Iverson averages 19.2ppg, 9.8rpg, 4.8apg and 2.0spg in five games.
#5. Experienced LaMonte Ulmer (6'6''-SF-86, graduated '10, plays in France) contributed to a JL Bourg Basket's victory against the closely-ranked JSF Nanterre (23-10) 75-70 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA in Monday night's game.
Ulmer scored 10 points, had 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 26 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. JL Bourg Basket (29-4) is placed second in the Jeep ELITE ProA.
It was his team's 13th consecutive victory in a row.
They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial.
It's Ulmer's first season with the team.
This year he averages 9.2ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.4apg and 1.2spg.
#6. Jimmy Baron (6'3''-G-86, graduated '09, currently in France), who plays in the French Jeep ELITE ProA was not able to secure a victory for Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket (21-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket lost 96-102 in Bourg to the lower-ranked (#9) JL Bourg.
Baron was the second best scorer with 21 points.
He has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.1apg in 33 games.
#7. Will Daniels (6'8''-F-86, graduated '08, plays pro in France) couldn't help Levallois (14-19) in their game last Tuesday. Despite his very good performance Levallois was defeated 97-85 on the opponent's court by the much higher-ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (#5).
Daniels was the second best scorer with 18 points. He also added 4 rebounds in 29 minutes.
Daniels has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.3apg.
#8. Patrick McGlynn (6'2''-G-92, graduated '16, plays in Portugal) couldn't help Illiabum (13-19) in their last game. Despite McGlynn's very good performance the third-placed Illiabum lost 75-88 in Oliveira to the leading Oliveirense in the Places 7-12 group.
He was the top scorer with 21 points. McGlynn also added 5 passes.
He has very impressive stats this year 20.4ppg, 3.1rpg and 4.3apg in 33 games.
#9. Earl Watson (6'7''-C-90, graduated '16, currently in Spain) led Rio Ourense Termal to a victory against the closely-ranked Oviedo CB 80-76 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Thursday.
He recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 10 rebounds. Watson also added 2 blocks in 23 minutes.
This season he averages 9.4ppg and 5.6rpg.
#10. Nicola Akele (6'8''-F-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Italy) couldn't help Roseto Sharks in their game against Remer TVG in the Italian Serie A2 (second division).
He scored 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
His team lost 74-81.
Akele has relatively good stats this year 13.4ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg in 35 games.
He has also Italian nationality.
