Every week we bring you a list of the top former Buckeyes players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. DeShaun Thomas (6'7''-PF-91, graduated '13, plays pro in Greece) led Panathinaikos to a victory over the eighth-ranked Holargos (11-14) 81-64 in the Greek A1 on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Thomas scored 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 25 minutes. Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens (19-1) is placed first in the A1. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Thomas has relatively good stats this season 13.0ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.3apg.

   #2. Aaron Craft (6'2''-PG-91, graduated '14, plays in Italy) could not help Dolomiti En. TR (16-12) in their last game. Despite Craft's very good performance Dolomiti En. TR lost 69-74 on the road to the lower-ranked (#11) Virtus Bologna. He was the top scorer with 22 points. Craft also added 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. It was Dolomiti En. TR's first loss after four consecutive victories. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Craft has relatively good stats this year 12.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 4.6apg and 2.0spg in 23 games he played so far.

   #3. David Lighty (6'6''-G/F-88, graduated '11, currently in France) contributed to an ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket's victory against the seventh-ranked Limoges CSP Elite (18-13) 85-74 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA last Sunday. Lighty scored 12 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 33 minutes. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (24-7) is placed first in the Jeep ELITE ProA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Lighty has relatively good stats this season 10.6ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.6apg and 1.1spg.

   #4. Experienced Othello Hunter (6'8''-C-86, graduated '08, plays pro in Russia) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked BC Nizhny Novgorod (14-12) crushing them 87-50 in the VTB United League on Saturday night. Hunter recorded 8 points. CSKA Moscow (22-4) is placed first in the VTB United League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Hunter averages 9.1ppg and 4.0rpg in 21 games. He is a naturalized Liberian.

   #5. Jae'Sean Tate (6'4''-F-95, graduated '18, plays in Belgium) was the main contributor in a Telenet Giants Antwerp's victory against the closely-ranked Brose Baskets (8-6) 72-58 in the Basketball Champions League in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Tate recorded 16 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in a mere 18 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Telenet Giants Antwerp (6-8) is placed fourth in group C. It's Tate's first year with the team. Tate has relatively good stats this season 12.9ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.6apg.

   #6. Zisis Sarikopoulos (7'0''-C-90, graduated '10, currently in Belarus) contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked Grodno-93 crushing them 93-63 in the Belarusian Premier League last Tuesday. Sarikopoulos was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 10 rebounds. Sarikopoulos has relatively good stats this year 13.0ppg and 9.0rpg in two games.

   #7. Evan Turner (6'7''-G/F-88, graduated '10, plays pro in the NBA) managed to help Portland Trail Blazers to win against the Denver Nuggets 97-90 in the NBA on Wednesday night. He scored only 4 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 18 minutes. This season Turner averages 6.2ppg, 4.4rpg and 3.7apg.

   #8. Amir Williams (6'11''-C-92, graduated '15, plays in Hungary) was not able to help Atomeromu (16-16) in their last game. Despite his good performance the second-placed Atomeromu lost 85-93 in Zalaegerszeg to the lower-ranked (#5) ZTE KK in the Places 6-10 group. Williams scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. This year he averages 5.7ppg and 4.5rpg in 11 games.

   #9. Trevor Thompson (7'0''-C-94, graduated '17, currently in Belgium) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jae'Sean Tate. But that was another game of his team in Basketball Champions League which we would like to mention. Thompson was not able to secure a victory for Telenet Giants Antwerp in their game against CB Canarias. He recorded only 4 points in 3 minutes on the court. His team was badly defeated by 16 points 70-54. This season Thompson averages 2.4ppg.

   #10. Ronald Lewis (6'4''-SG-84, graduated '07, plays pro in France) couldn't help FOS Provence Basket in their game against Le Mans in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. Lewis recorded 6 points. His team was badly defeated by 20 points 88-68. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Lewis averages 15.9ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.4apg and 1.2spg in 30 games.
