We bring you last week's top former Bears players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Dewayne Jackson (6'8''-F-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Lebanon) led Champville to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Atlas Ferzol (4-12) crushing them 104-81 in the Lebanese LBL in Friday night's game.
He was MVP of the game. Jackson scored 27 points (!!!) and grabbed 4 rebounds in 27 minutes.
Champville (13-3) is placed first in the LBL.
Jackson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 22.0ppg, 7.1rpg, 2.7apg and 2.3spg in 18 games he played so far.
#2. Reginald Holmes (6'4''-G-87, graduated '10, plays in Lebanon) contributed to a Beirut Club's victory against the closely-ranked Al Moutahed (5-11) 84-70 in the Lebanese LBL last Tuesday.
He scored 9 points. It was his first game for Beirut Club this season.
His team is placed fourth in the LBL.
It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row.
#3. Cedric Blossom (6'6''-F-94, graduated '16, currently in Argentina) helped Club Atletico Platense Florida win their game against the leader Deportivo Viedma (25-15) 60-53 in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division) on Monday night.
He recorded 8 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 31 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group South - C.South. Club Atletico Platense Florida (29-10) is placed first in South - C.South group.
It was Club Atletico Platense Florida's third consecutive victory in a row.
The Regular Season already ended.
It's Blossom's first season with the team.
Blossom has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.5apg in 39 games.
#4. Experienced Jermaine Bolden (5'10''-PG-86, graduated '09, plays pro in Antigua) helped Cutie Ovals Ojays win their game against the closely-ranked Flyers (9-3) 89-83 in the Antiguan ABBA in Sunday night's game.
Bolden recorded 11 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. F&G Trading Cutie Ovals Ojays (9-1) is placed first in the ABBA.
It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Bolden's first season with the team.
He has relatively good stats this year 11.5ppg, 4.9rpg, 7.9apg and 4.3spg.
