EuroBasket Pro Rams Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Rams alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Briante Weber (6'2''-PG-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Greece) could not help Olympiacos (15-15) in their game last Friday. Despite his very good performance Olympiacos was defeated 72-68 at home by the lower-ranked Zalgiris (#9). Weber was the top scorer with 26 points. He also added 4 rebounds in 33 minutes. The Regular Season already ended in the Euroleague. Weber has relatively good stats this season 11.6ppg, 4.6rpg and 2.6apg.

   #2. Troy Daniels (6'4''-G-91, graduated '13, plays in the NBA) led Phoenix Suns to a victory against the New Orleans Pelicans (32-48) 133-126 in the NBA in Friday night's game. Daniels scored 14 points. The Phoenix Suns have rather weak 19-61 record this season. There are only two games left until the end of the NBA Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Daniels averages 6.4ppg and 1.4rpg in 49 games he played so far.

   #3. Brandon Rozzell (6'2''-G-89, graduated '11, currently in Iceland) led Stjarnan to a victory over the sixth-ranked IR (6-12) crushing them 96-63 in the Icelandic Dominos League last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Rozzell recorded 28 points (!!!) and grabbed 6 rebounds in 29 minutes. Stjarnan (17-5) is placed first in the Dominos League. Rozzell has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 23.1ppg, 5.2rpg, 4.3apg and 2.1spg.

   #4. Juvonte Reddic (6'9''-F-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Hungary) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider TF Budapest (2-24) crushing them 93-65 in the Hungarian A Division on Friday night. He scored 14 points and blocked 2 shots. Falco-Vulcano Energia KC Szombathely (17-9) is placed third in the A Division. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Reddic has relatively good stats this year 14.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.1apg, 1.2bpg and 1.1spg in 25 games.

   #5. Jamie Skeen (6'8''-F-88, graduated '11, plays in Finland) was not able to help Vilpas (31-6) in their game last Saturday. Despite Skeen's good performance the league leader Vilpas was edged 87-84 on their home court in Salo by the lower-ranked Helsinki Seagulls (#7). He scored 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 22 minutes. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Skeen's first season with the team. Skeen has relatively good stats this year 12.9ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.4apg.

   #6. Experienced B.A. Walker (6'1''-G-84, graduated '07, currently in France), who plays in the French NM1 (third division) was not able to secure a victory for Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball (8-4) in their last game. Despite Walker's good performance the third-placed Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball was edged 75-73 on the road by the second-ranked STB Le Havre in the Places 1-10 group. He scored 11 points. Walker has relatively good stats this year 11.4ppg, 3.6rpg, 4.9apg and 1.2spg in 29 games.

   #7. Jamal Shuler (6'3''-SG-86, graduated '08, plays pro in Israel) contributed to a Hapoel SP Tel-Aviv's victory against the closely-ranked Beer Sheva 102-96 in the Israeli Winner League on Sunday night. Shuler scored 10 points in 26 minutes. He has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg, 2.9rpg, 2.2apg and 1.1spg.

   #8. Treveon Graham (6'6''-G-93, graduated '15, plays in the NBA) managed to help Brooklyn Nets in a victory against the Boston Celtics 110-96 in the NBA in Saturday night's game. He scored 5 points. This year Graham averages 4.8ppg and 3.0rpg in 32 games.

   #9. Melvin Johnson (6'4''-G-93, graduated '16, currently in Italy), who plays in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) couldn't help Unieuro Forli (14-13) in their game last Sunday. Despite his good performance the sixth-placed Unieuro Forli was defeated 84-75 in Udine by the higher-ranked GSA Udine (#5) in the East group. Johnson scored 12 points and added 3 assists in 36 minutes. This season he has very high stats. Johnson averages 15.5ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.0apg and 1.7spg.

   #10. Bradford Burgess (6'6''-F-90, graduated '12, plays pro in Belgium) couldn't help betFIRST Liege Basket in their game against Antwerp Giants in the Belgian Euromillions League. Burgess scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. His team lost 76-84. He has relatively good stats this year 11.2ppg, 4.6rpg, 1.5apg and 1.5spg in 20 games.
