EuroBasket Pro Saints Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Saints alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Ryan Rossiter (6'9''-F-89, graduated '11, plays pro in Japan) could not help Tochigi Brex (44-10) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance the second-placed Tochigi Brex (44-10) was defeated 95-86 on the road by the leading Chiba Jets in the East group. Rossiter was the second best scorer with 20 points. He also added 8 rebounds, passed 3 assists and added 2 blocks in 35 minutes. It's Rossiter's first season with the team. Rossiter has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 20.0ppg, 11.5rpg, 4.8apg and 1.2spg.

   #2. Ronald Moore (6'0''-PG-88, graduated '10, plays in Italy) managed to help Openjobmetis Varese in a victory against the closely-ranked Umana Venezia (17-7) 87-79 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night's game. He scored only 4 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Openjobmetis Varese (14-10) is placed fifth in the Serie A. This year Moore averages 9.5ppg, 3.5rpg and 4.7apg in 24 games he played so far.

   #3. O.D. Anosike (6'8''-F/C-91, graduated '13, currently in France) was not able to help Le Portel in their game against JDA Dijon (19-5) in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. Anosike scored 7 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 31 minutes. Le Portel was crushed 94-58 in Dijon by the much higher-ranked JDA Dijon (#3). Anosike has relatively good stats this season 10.3ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg. He is a naturalized Nigerian.

   #4. Experienced Kenny Hasbrouck (6'3''-G-86, graduated '09, plays pro in Italy) led Consultinvest BO to a victory over the 12th-ranked Bondi Ferrara (10-17) 91-79 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Hasbrouck scored 28 points (!!!). Consultinvest Bologna (24-3) is placed first in East group. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Hasbrouck's first season with the team. He has very impressive stats this year 16.4ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.6apg and 1.7spg in 25 games.

Javion Ogunyemi (6'10''-F/C-95) plays for Apollon in Cypriot Division A
Lavon Long (6'7''-G/F-94) played for Team Windy City in the Eurobasket S.League last year
