EuroBasket Pro Red Foxes Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Red Foxes players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Chavaughn Lewis (6'5''-G/F-93, graduated '15, plays pro in Latvia) could not help Kalev/Cramo (25-3) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the league leader Kalev/Cramo lost 80-90 on the road to the lower-ranked (#3) VEF Riga.
Lewis was the top scorer with 32 points. He also added 4 rebounds and 4 assists in 32 minutes.
Lewis has relatively good stats this year 13.6ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.6apg and 1.5spg in 22 games he played so far.
#2. Experienced Jared Jordan (6'2''-PG-84, graduated '07, plays in Germany) was not able to help Giessen 46ers (11-16) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Jordan's very good performance Giessen 46ers was edged 115-114 at home by the lower-ranked Crailsheim Merlins (#15).
He recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and making 13 passes. Jordan also added 4 rebounds.
This season Jordan averages 7.8ppg, 3.6rpg, 7.8apg and 1.1spg.
#3. Adam Kemp (6'10''-F-90, graduated '14, currently in Poland), who plays in the Polish EBL was not able to secure a victory for Polpharma Starogard Gdanski (10-15) in their last game. Despite Kemp's very good performance Polpharma Starogard Gdanski lost 71-82 in Sopot to the higher-ranked (#4) Trefl.
He had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds in 25 minutes.
It was Polpharma Starogard Gdanski's sixth consecutive loss in a row.
Kemp has relatively good stats this year 10.1ppg, 9.2rpg and 1.9bpg in 25 games.
#4. Jay Bowie (6'5''-G/F-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Australia) was the major contributor in a 3-point Goldfields Giants' victory against the tenth-ranked Senators (1-2) 88-85 in the Australian State League (second division) in Saturday night's game.
Bowie scored 16 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 6 assists.
Goldfields Giants (3-1) are placed third in SBL group.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Bowie has relatively good stats this year 14.3ppg, 7.0rpg and 5.8apg.
#5. Phillip Lawrence (6'7''-F-94, graduated '16, plays in Spain) couldn't help Avila Autentica Carrefour (11-17) in their game against Vic (10-18) in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division).
Lawrence recorded 8 points in 18 minutes.
The ninth-placed Avila Autentica Carrefour (11-17) lost 71-78 on the opponent's court to the lower-ranked (#11) Vic in the West group.
It was Avila Autentica Carrefour's third consecutive loss in a row.
It's Lawrence's first season with the team.
This year he averages 8.3ppg and 3.5rpg in 28 games.
Lawrence is a naturalized Vincentian.
#6. Anell Alexis (6'7''-F-90, graduated '13, currently in Germany) couldn't help wiha Panthers Villingen-Schwenningen in their game against Giessen 46ers II in the German ProB (third division).
Alexis scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
His team was defeated 81-76.
This season he averages 5.4ppg and 3.1rpg.
Alexis is a naturalized Panamanian.
#7. Pieter Prinsloo (6'10''-F-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Spain) couldn't help Gijon in their game against Menorca in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division).
Prinsloo recorded 9 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 24 minutes.
His team was badly defeated by 18 points 92-74.
This year he averages 8.1ppg and 5.5rpg in 14 games.
