EuroBasket Pro Jaguars Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Jaguars players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Experienced George Hill (6'3''-PG-86, graduated '08, plays pro in the NBA) led Milwaukee Bucks to a victory against the Brooklyn Nets (39-39) 131-121 in the NBA in Monday night's game. He recorded 22 points and added 3 passes in 27 minutes. The Milwaukee Bucks have a solid 58-20 record this season. There are only four games left until the end of the NBA Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Hill's first year with the team. This season Hill averages 6.3ppg, 2.5rpg and 2.1apg in 43 games he played so far.

   #2. Robert Glenn (6'8''-PF-88, graduated '10, plays in Puerto Rico) was the major contributor in a Cariduros de Fajardo's victory against one of league's weakest teams Atleticos (3-9) crushing them 104-84 in the Puerto Rican BSN last Sunday. He scored 21 points, had 9 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Cariduros de Fajardo (5-5) is placed fifth in the BSN. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Glenn has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.2ppg, 6.8rpg, 3.1apg and 1.9bpg.

   #3. Darell Combs (6'2''-PG-93, graduated '17, currently in United Kingdom), who plays in the British BBL could not help Worcester Wolves (4-21) to beat Newcastle Eagles (8-10). He scored 6 points and added 3 passes in 22 minutes. The bottom-ranked Worcester Wolves was edged 96-93 on the road by the higher-ranked (#7) Newcastle Eagles. It's Combs' first season with the team. Combs has relatively good stats this year 13.4ppg, 3.3rpg and 4.1apg in 22 games.

   #4. Maurice Kirby (6'9''-F-94, graduated '18, plays pro in Spain) managed to help C.B. Torrons Vicens L'Hospitalet to win against the eighth-ranked Plasencia (12-16) 69-65 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) in Saturday night's game. Kirby recorded only 3 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. C.B. Torrons Vicens L'Hospitalet (11-8) is placed sixth in East group. This season Kirby averages 4.0ppg and 5.5rpg. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
