Every week we bring you a list of the top former Monarchs players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Jonathan Arledge (6'9''-F-91, graduated '15, plays pro in Latvia) led Ventspils to a victory against the league leader Kalev/Cramo (25-3) 91-82 in the Latvian LatEstBL in Saturday night's game. He scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 25 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BK Ventspils (27-1) is placed second in the LatEstBL. It was his team's 24th consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Arledge has relatively good stats this year 12.6ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1spg in 27 games he played so far.

#2. Franklin Hassell (6'9''-F/C-88, graduated '11, plays in France) led Cholet Basket to a 3-point victory over the seventh-ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (14-10) 84-81 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA last Saturday. Hassell was MVP of the game. He scored 23 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Cholet Basket (22-1) is placed first in the Jeep ELITE ProA. It was his team's 21st consecutive victory in a row. Hassell has relatively good stats this season 14.0ppg, 8.1rpg and 1.1apg.

#3. Chris Cooper (6'9''-C/F-90, graduated '12, currently in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala could not help Sibiu (17-5) in their last game. Despite Cooper's good performance the first-placed Sibiu (17-5) was edged 72-70 at home by the lower-ranked (#3) Oradea in the Group Red. He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Cooper also added 5 rebounds in 28 minutes. There are only two games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game is very crucial. This year Cooper averages 7.8ppg and 5.8rpg in 22 games.

#4. Kent Bazemore (6'5''-G/F-89, graduated '12, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to help the Atlanta Hawks in their game against the Portland Trail Blazers (48-27) in the NBA. Bazemore's contribution was not very remarkable in Friday's game. He recorded only 3 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. The Atlanta Hawks (27-49) were badly defeated 118-98 on the road by the Trail Blazers. It was Hawks' first loss after three consecutive victories. It's Bazemore's fifth season with the team. Bazemore has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 11.7ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.3apg and 1.4spg.

#5. Brandan Stith (6'7''-F-94, graduated '18, plays in Belgium) was not able to secure a victory for Stella Artois Leuven Bears (5-16) in their last game. Despite Stith's good performance Stella Artois Leuven Bears lost 64-68 in Charleroi to the higher-ranked (#3) Spirou. He scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 27 minutes. It was Stella Artois Leuven Bears' fourth consecutive loss in a row. This year Stith averages 9.4ppg and 7.2rpg in 19 games.

#6. Trian Iliadis (6'3''-G-89, graduated '12, currently in Australia) managed to help Joondalup City Wanneroo Wolves to win against the fourth-ranked Eagles 93-84 in the Australian State League (second division) on Friday night. Iliadis scored 5 points and added 3 assists. This season Iliadis averages 6.5ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.0apg. He has also Australian nationality.

#7. Experienced Valdas Vasylius (6'8''-F-83, graduated '07, plays pro in Lithuania) couldn't help Nevezis in their game against Neptunas in the Lithuanian LKL. Vasylius cannot count it as his best performance. He scored only 2 points in 13 minutes. His team lost 70-78. This year Vasylius averages 4.2ppg and 2.0rpg in 24 games.

#8. Denzell Taylor (6'7''-F-94, graduated '17, plays in Canada) contributed to a Moncton Magic's victory against the Windsor Express 119-114 in the NBLCanada last Sunday. He scored only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This season Taylor averages 6.1ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.3apg.
