EuroBasket Pro Panthers Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Panthers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Eric Buckner (6'10''-C-90, graduated '12, plays pro in France) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked Le Mans (9-14) 82-65 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA on Saturday night. He scored 9 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 19 minutes. AS Monaco Basket (13-6) is placed third in the Jeep ELITE ProA. It's Buckner's first season with the team. This year Buckner averages 8.4ppg and 3.4rpg.

   #2. Manny Atkins (6'7''-F/G-91, graduated '14, plays in France) led ALM Evreux Basket to a victory over the closely-ranked Quimper UJAP (9-15) 85-78 in the French ProB (second division) in Friday night's game. Atkins was MVP of the game. He scored 23 points. ALM Evreux Basket (10-14) is placed 12th in the ProB. Atkins has relatively good stats this year 11.4ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1spg in nine games he played so far.

   #3. Willie Clayton (6'8''-F-92, graduated '17, currently in United Kingdom), who plays in the British BBL could not help Manchester Giants (11-15) in their game last Friday. Despite Clayton's very good performance Manchester Giants was badly defeated 97-78 on the road by the league outsider Worcester Wolves (#12). He recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 18 rebounds. Clayton also added 4 blocks in 37 minutes. It's Clayton's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Clayton averages 18.5ppg, 15.5rpg, 1.8apg, 1.1bpg and 1.3spg.

   #4. Jeremy Hollowell (6'8''-F-94, graduated '17, plays pro in the NBA G League) contributed to a 1-point Erie Bay Hawks' victory against the Westchester Knicks (29-21) 123-122 in the NBA G League on Saturday night. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 14 rebounds. Hollowell also added 3 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. The Erie Bay Hawks have 24-26 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended in the NBA G League. Hollowell has relatively good stats this year 11.0ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.8apg in 49 games.

   #5. Ryan Harrow (6'2''-G-91, graduated '15, plays in Greece) was not able to help Peristeri GS in their game against Lavrio (6-14) in the Greek A1. He scored 8 points in only 13 minutes. Peristeri GS was crushed 83-55 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Lavrio (#10). Harrow has relatively good stats this season 13.6ppg, 2.4rpg and 5.0apg. He is a naturalized Jamaican.

   #6. Isaiah Williams (6'2''-G-95, graduated '18, currently in Bulgaria), who plays in the Bulgarian NBL was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Yambol (7-12) in their last game. Despite Williams' good performance Yambol lost 69-83 in Pleven to the higher-ranked (#6) Spartak. He was the second best scorer with 13 points. Williams has relatively good stats this year 14.5ppg, 2.4rpg and 4.1apg in 17 games. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

   #7. Ousman Krubally (6'8''-F-88, graduated '10, plays pro in Italy) couldn't help Pistoia Basket in their game against Grissin Bon RE in the Italian Serie A. Krubally scored 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 27 minutes. His team was defeated 80-76. Krubally has relatively good stats this season 12.6ppg, 10.0rpg and 1.1apg. He is a naturalized Gambian.

   #8. Jordan Session (6'8''-F-96, graduated '18, plays in Denmark) managed to help Team FOG Naestved in a victory against the leader EBAA crushing them 101-66 in the Danish BasketLigaen in Thursday night's game. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. This year Session averages 7.8ppg, 7.3rpg and 1.2apg in 15 games.

   #9. Kevin Ware (6'2''-G-93, graduated '16, currently in Canada) contributed to a 2-point London Lightning's victory against the Windsor Express 121-119 in the NBLCanada last Friday. Ware recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting the same number of rebounds. He also added 8 assists in 35 minutes. Ware has relatively good stats this season 11.3ppg, 5.2rpg, 3.0apg and 1.5spg.

   #10. Experienced Leroy Davis (6'7''-F-81, graduated '03, plays pro in Mexico) couldn't help Lenadores in their game against Fuerza Regia in the Mexican LNBP (second division). He scored 7 points. His team lost 82-87. This year Davis averages 4.6ppg and 1.8rpg in 43 games.
