Every week we bring you a list of the top former Tigers players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Marvin Jones (7'0''-C-93, graduated '17, plays pro in Slovenia) could not help P.Olimpija (2-1) in their last game. Despite his good performance the second-placed P.Olimpija (2-1) lost 59-65 on the road to the lower-ranked (#5) Hopsi Polzela in the Places 1-6 group.
Jones was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 9 rebounds in 31 minutes.
It was P.Olimpija's first loss after three consecutive victories.
It's Jones' first season with the team.
This year Jones averages 7.9ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.1apg in eight games he played so far.
#2. Malcolm Riley (6'5''-F-93, graduated '16, plays in Lebanon) was not able to help Byblos in their game against Sagesse (2-14) in the Lebanese LBL. Despite his very good performance on Saturday night Riley was the second best scorer with 21 points. He also added 6 rebounds.
Riley's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
Riley has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 22.2ppg, 6.3rpg and 2.8apg.
#3. Donte Clark (6'5''-G-94, graduated '18, currently in Hungary) was not able to secure a victory for TF Budapest (2-22) in their game against Sopron KC (10-14) in the Hungarian A Division, despite his very good performance in Wednesday night's game.
He was the second best scorer with 18 points. Clark also added 4 assists (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 33 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. But the bottom-ranked TF Budapest was crushed 108-83 at home by the higher-ranked (#12) Sopron KC.
It was TF Budapest's fifth consecutive loss in a row.
Clark's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial.
