Every week we bring you a list of the top former Eagles players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Demonte Harper (6'4''-G-89, graduated '11, plays pro in Italy) could not help Sidigas AV (14-9) in their last game. Despite his good performance Sidigas AV lost 65-76 on the road to the second-ranked Umana Venezia.
Harper scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 35 minutes.
This year Harper averages 8.0ppg, 3.8rpg and 3.8apg in six games he played so far.
#2. Angelo Warner (6'2''-PG-92, graduated '15, plays in Hungary) was not able to help Sopron KC in their game against DEAC (13-11) in the Hungarian A Division. Despite his very good performance on Saturday night Warner was the top scorer with 33 points. He also added 7 boards, dished 5 assists and stole 3 balls.
Warner's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
It's Warner's first season with the team.
He has individually a very good year with high stats. Warner averages 19.2ppg, 5.5rpg, 5.2apg and 1.8spg.
#3. Kenneth Faried (6'8''-F-89, graduated '11, currently in the NBA) led Houston Rockets to an easy victory against the New Orleans Pelicans (31-45) crushing them 113-90 in the NBA on Sunday night.
Faried had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting the same number of rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in 24 minutes.
The Houston Rockets have a solid 47-28 record this season.
Faried has very impressive stats this year 13.6ppg and 8.8rpg in 21 games.
#4. Karam Mashour (6'6''-SF-91, graduated '15, plays pro in Israel) led Bnei Hertzeliya to a victory against the sixth-ranked Galil Gilboa (10-13) 95-81 in the Israeli Winner League in Monday night's game.
He scored 13 points, grabbed 6 boards, passed 4 assists and added 3 steals.
Bnei Hertzeliya (5-18) closes the standings in the Winner League.
But the situation may improve as they ended a series of thirteen consecutive loses.
Mashour has relatively good stats this season 13.1ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.5apg and 1.4spg.
#5. Kareem Storey (6'0''-PG-92, graduated '15, plays in Romania) was not able to secure a victory for Medias (1-7) in their game against CSM Steaua Bucuresti (6-2) in the Romanian Liga Nationala, despite his good performance last Saturday.
He scored 11 points, made 7 passes and 6 steals in 26 minutes.
But the fifth-placed Medias (1-7) was crushed 84-60 in Bucuresti by the higher-ranked (#3) CSM Steaua in the Group Yellow.
It was Medias' third consecutive loss in a row.
There are only two games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game is very crucial.
It's Storey's first season with the team.
Storey has relatively good stats this year 13.9ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.7apg and 2.7spg in 19 games.
#6. Brent Arrington (6'3''-G-92, graduated '16, currently in Canada) managed to help Saint John Riptide to win against the The Storm 84-83 in the NBLCanada on Thursday night.
Arrington scored only 3 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 7 assists.
He has relatively good stats this season 10.7ppg, 4.1rpg, 5.0apg and 1.3spg.
#7. Anthony Elechi (6'8''-F-93, graduated '16, plays pro in United Kingdom) couldn't help Surrey Scorchers in their game against Leicester Riders in the British BBL.
He scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 16 minutes.
His team lost 80-84.
Elechi has relatively good stats this year 10.1ppg, 8.8rpg and 1.3apg in 12 games.
He is a naturalized Nigerian.
Worth to mention Elechi played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#8. Chad Posthumus (6'11''-C-91, graduated '14, plays in Canada) contributed to an easy victory against the Windsor Express crushing them 144-78 in the NBLCanada last Wednesday.
Posthumus scored 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
This season he averages 5.5ppg and 2.2rpg.
#9. Xavier Moon (6'2''-G-95, graduated '17, currently in Canada) couldn't help the London Lightning in their game against the Sudbury Five in the NBLCanada, despite his very good performance on Sunday night.
Moon scored 17 points, had 6 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 4 balls in 36 minutes.
But his team lost 108-116.
He has relatively good stats this year 14.4ppg, 4.5rpg, 4.2apg and 1.4spg in 33 games.
