EuroBasket Pro Owls Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Owls alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Experienced Lorenzo Williams (6'2''-PG-84, graduated '07, plays pro in Lithuania) led Neptunas to a victory over the league outsider Nevezis (4-22) 78-70 in the Lithuanian LKL on Monday night. He was MVP of the game. Williams scored 11 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 21 minutes. Neptunas Klaipeda (20-6) is placed second in the LKL. This season Williams averages 8.0ppg, 2.0rpg, 4.3apg and 1.2spg.

   #2. Suleiman Braimoh (6'8''-F/C-89, graduated '11, plays in Israel) could not help Hapoel Eilat (15-8) in their last game. Despite Braimoh's very good performance Hapoel Eilat was edged 88-85 on the road by the lower-ranked (#5) Beer Sheva. He was the second best scorer with 17 points. Braimoh has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.5ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.8apg and 1.5spg in 19 games he played so far. Braimoh is a naturalized Nigerian.

   #3. Ahmad Ibrahim (6'6''-G/F-92, graduated '12, currently in Lebanon) contributed to Champville's victory against one of league's weakest teams Atlas Ferzol (4-12) 80-68 in the Lebanese LBL last Thursday. Ibrahim recorded 7 points in 34 minutes. Champville (13-3) is placed first in the LBL. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This season Ibrahim averages 7.2ppg, 3.3rpg and 2.5apg.

   #4. Mike Harris (6'6''-SF-83, graduated '05, plays in Bahrain) was the major contributor in Muharraq's victory against the fifth-ranked Al-Riffa (2-3) 100-96 in the Bahrain Premier League in Thursday night's game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 17 rebounds. Harris also added 4 assists in 39 minutes. Al-Muharraq (3-2) is placed fourth in Top group. This season Harris has very high stats. He averages 24.0ppg, 16.7rpg, 2.0apg and 2.0bpg.

Max Guercy (5'9''-PG-94) played for Kimchi Express in the The Basketball Tournament few monts ago
Tamir Jackson (6'3''-G-90) played for Tim Thomas Playaz in the The Basketball Tournament last year
