Every week we bring you a list of the top former Terriers players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Chris Hooper (6'6''-F/C-91, graduated '16, plays pro in Argentina) led Obera TC to a victory over the fourth-ranked Deportivo Norte (18-18) 93-79 in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division) on Tuesday night.
He was MVP of the game. Hooper scored 27 points (!!!) and blocked 2 blocks in 30 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Obera Tennis Club (13-19) is placed sixth in North - North group.
Hooper has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.3ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.4apg and 1.5bpg.
#2. Jalen Cannon (6'6''-F-93, graduated '15, plays in Italy) could not help Moncada AGR (14-11) in their last game. Despite his good performance the seventh-placed Moncada AGR (14-11) lost 72-81 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#14) Bertram TRT in the West group.
Cannon had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 11 rebounds.
Cannon has very impressive stats this year 17.4ppg, 8.1rpg, 1.8apg and 1.4spg in 25 games he played so far.
#3. Dagur Jonsson (6'1''-G-95, graduated '17, currently in Austria) contributed to a BC Raiffeisen Flyers Wels' victory against the closely-ranked Hallmann (12-16) 81-76 in the Austrian A Bundesliga last Sunday.
Jonsson scored 9 points and added 3 assists in 22 minutes.
BC Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (8-1) are placed fourth in the A Bundesliga.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
It's Jonsson's first season with the team.
He has relatively good stats this year 10.6ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.2apg.
#4. Gunnar Olafsson (6'3''-G/F-93, graduated '18, plays pro in Iceland) was not able to help Keflavik in their game against KR (16-11) in the Icelandic Dominos League.
Olafsson recorded 7 points and added 3 assists.
Keflavik was edged 77-76 at home by the lower-ranked (#4) KR.
It's Olafsson's first season with the team.
He has relatively good stats this year 14.3ppg, 3.7rpg and 2.0apg in 23 games.
#5. Benjamin Mockford (6'2''-G-89, graduated '14, plays in Greece) was not able to secure a victory for Karditsas (12-11) in their game against Psychiko (11-12) in the Greek A2 (second division).
Mockford recorded 8 points in 26 minutes.
Karditsas was defeated 80-73 in Athens by the lower-ranked Psychiko (#10).
This season Mockford averages 9.2ppg.
