Every week we bring you a list of the top former Crusaders players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Experienced Torey Thomas (5'10''-PG-85, graduated '07, plays pro in Poland) led AZS Koszalin to a victory over the closely-ranked Start (11-12) 126-122 in the Polish EBL on Sunday night.
He was MVP of the game. Thomas recorded a double-double by scoring 33 points and making 15 passes. He also added and 5 steals in 45 minutes.
AZS Koszalin (7-15) is placed 12th in the EBL.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Thomas has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 20.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 7.7apg and 2.3spg.
#2. David Dudzinski (6'9''-F/C-92, graduated '14, plays in Belgium) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Basic-Fit Brussels (13-6) 92-74 in the Belgian Euromillions League in Sunday night's game.
He recorded 13 points.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Telenet Giants Antwerp (14-4) is placed second in the Euromillions League.
It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row.
It's Dudzinski's first season with the team.
This year Dudzinski averages 9.2ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.6apg in 17 games he played so far.
#3. Malcolm Miller (6'7''-F-93, graduated '15, currently in the NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the New York Knicks (14-57) crushing them 128-92 in the NBA last Monday.
Miller scored 6 points in only 8 minutes.
The Toronto Raptors have a solid 50-21 record this season.
This year Miller averages 4.5ppg.
#4. Matthew Husek (6'11''-C, graduated '17, plays pro in Germany) was the major contributor in Goetting.ASC's victory against the seventh-ranked Bergedorf (12-12) 92-74 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) on Saturday night.
He recorded 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Husek's second season in pro basketball. ASC 46 Goettingen (19-5) is placed second in North group.
It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Husek's first year with the team.
He has relatively good stats this season 13.7ppg and 6.2rpg in 24 games.
