EuroBasket Pro Owls Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Owls players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Micheal Eric (6'11''-C-88, graduated '12, plays pro in Turkey) led his Turkish team Darussafaka to a victory over the closely-ranked Khimki (9-18) 91-85 in the Euroleague in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Eric had a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 15 rebounds in 29 minutes. Darussafaka Istanbul (4-23) is located at the very bottom in the Euroleague. But the situation may improve as they ended a series of six consecutive loses. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Eric has relatively good stats this year 11.4ppg and 5.3rpg in 26 games he played so far.

   #2. Will Cummings (6'2''-PG-92, graduated '15, plays in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (11-12) crushing them 100-71 in the German BBL last Saturday. He scored 14 points and added 7 passes (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line). EWE Baskets Oldenburg (19-4) is placed second in the BBL. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. It's Cummings' first season with the team. Cummings has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 19.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 4.4apg and 1.6spg.

   #3. Scootie Randall (6'6''-F-90, graduated '13, currently in Japan) was the main contributor in a Cyberdyne IR's victory against the sixth-ranked Tokyo HT (10-39) 81-77 in the Japanese B2 League on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Randall had a double-double by scoring 32 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 4 assists in 40 minutes. Cyberdyne Ibaraki Robots (31-18) are placed second in East group. Randall has very impressive stats this year 22.7ppg, 10.2rpg, 6.8apg and 1.1spg in 36 games.

   #4. Ramone Moore (6'4''-G-89, graduated '12, plays pro in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Aris (6-13) crushing them 81-61 in the Greek A1 in Saturday night's game. Moore recorded 12 points and added 6 assists. Peristeri GS Athens (13-6) is placed fifth in the A1. Moore has relatively good stats this season 11.0ppg, 4.0rpg and 3.7apg.

   #5. T.J. DiLeo (6'3''-G-90, graduated '13, plays in Germany) contributed to a Telekom Baskets Bonn's victory against the 14th-ranked BG Goettingen (7-17) 76-68 in the German BBL last Sunday. DiLeo scored 12 points and added 5 passes in 23 minutes. Telekom Baskets Bonn (13-10) is placed sixth in the BBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This year DiLeo averages 8.8ppg, 2.1rpg, 4.7apg and 1.1spg in 23 games. He is a naturalized German.

   #6. Josh Brown (6'3''-G-94, graduated '18, currently in Croatia) helped Alkar win their game against the league outsider Bosco 87-78 in the Croatian Premijer Liga on Saturday night. He scored 18 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 7 assists. This season Brown has very high stats. He averages 16.6ppg, 6.2rpg, 5.6apg and 1.2spg.

   #7. Obi Enechionyia (6'10''-F-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Spain) helped Real Betis win their game against the seventh-ranked Palencia Baloncesto 76-66 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) in Friday night's game. He scored 11 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks in a mere 18 minutes. Enechionyia has relatively good stats this year 10.8ppg and 4.1rpg in 24 games.

   #8. Dalton Pepper (6'5''-SF-90, graduated '14, plays in Italy) was the major contributor in a Novipiu Casale's victory against the 15th-ranked FCL Contract LG 88-81 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Sunday. Pepper recorded 16 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. This season Pepper has very high stats. He averages 19.5ppg, 9.0rpg, 3.5apg and 1.5spg. Pepper is a naturalized Italian.

   #9. Experienced Wayne Marshall (6'11''-C-86, graduated '06, currently in Japan), who plays in the Japanese B2 League could not help Shinshu BW (39-10) in their last game. Despite Marshall's very good performance the first-placed Shinshu BW lost 74-86 on the road to the lower-ranked (#4) Fukushima in the Central group. He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Marshall also added 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in 36 minutes. Marshall has very impressive stats this year 22.3ppg, 10.1rpg, 1.8apg, 2.3bpg and 1.5spg in 43 games.

   #10. Juan Fernandez (6'4''-G-90, graduated '12, plays pro in Italy) was not able to help Alma TR in their game against Dolomiti En. TR in the Italian Serie A. Fernandez recorded 5 points. His team was defeated 82-75. This season Fernandez averages 9.9ppg, 1.7rpg and 2.9apg. He has also Italian passport.
