EuroBasket Pro Yellow Jackets Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Yellow Jackets alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Glen Rice Jr. (6'6''-G/F-91, graduated '12, plays pro in Dominican Republic) could not help Plaza (2-4) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the fourth-placed Plaza (2-4) was edged 96-95 in a derby game by the higher-ranked (#3) Sameji in the Places 1-4 group.
Rice Jr. had a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 8 assists in 40 minutes. It was his first game for Plaza this season.
The Second Stage already ended.
#2. Charles Mitchell (6'8''-F/C-93, graduated '16, plays in Argentina) was not able to help Ferro (15-9) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite his very good performance Ferro was edged 77-76 on the road by the one of league's weakest teams Atenas (#19).
Mitchell recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 14 rebounds.
Mitchell has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.0ppg, 9.3rpg and 1.8apg.
#3. Derrick Favors (6'10''-F-91, graduated '10, currently in the NBA) was the major contributor in an Utah Jazz's victory against the Phoenix Suns (17-55) 114-97 in the NBA on Wednesday night.
He scored 18 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 26 minutes.
The Utah Jazz has 41-29 record this season.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Favors' eighth year with the team.
Favors has very impressive stats this season 11.6ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.2apg and 1.4bpg in 69 games he played so far.
#4. Josh Okogie (6'4''-G-98, graduated '18, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Minnesota Timberwolves (32-39) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance the Minnesota Timberwolves (32-39) were defeated 117-102 in Houston by the Rockets.
Okogie was the second best scorer with 21 points. He also added 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Okogie has relatively good stats this season 7.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1spg.
He is a naturalized Nigerian.
#5. Trae Golden (6'3''-G-91, graduated '14, plays in Russia) couldn't help Avtodor (5-1) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the first-placed Avtodor (5-1) lost 90-94 in Wuerzburg to the leading s Oliver Baskets in the group L of FIBA Europe Cup.
Golden was the top scorer with 24 points. He also added 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line) in 36 minutes.
It's Golden's first season with the team.
Golden has very impressive stats this year 18.3ppg, 3.0rpg and 5.9apg in 14 games.
#6. Thaddeus Young (6'8''-F-88, graduated '07, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA couldn't help the Indiana Pacers (44-28) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Young's very good performance the Indiana Pacers were edged 102-100 in Denver by the Nuggets.
He recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds.
This season Young has very high stats. He averages 12.4ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.4apg and 1.6spg.
#7. James White (6'8''-F-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Bulgaria) contributed to Beroe's victory against the fifth-ranked Academik Plovdiv 91-77 in the Bulgarian NBL in Saturday night's game.
White scored 10 points and blocked 3 shots in 21 minutes.
He has relatively good stats this year 11.2ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.2apg and 1.3spg in 12 games.
#8. Iman Shumpert (6'5''-G-90, graduated '11, plays in the NBA) faced previously mentioned Josh Okogie in the NBA last game.
Shumpert contributed to an easy victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves 117-102.
He recorded 7 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
This season Shumpert averages 3.9ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.4apg.
#9. Alade Aminu (6'10''-F/C-87, graduated '09, currently in Israel), who plays in the Israeli Winner League couldn't help Hapoel SP Tel-Aviv (9-13) in their last game. Despite his good performance Hapoel SP Tel-Aviv lost 89-95 in Ashdod to the lower-ranked (#10) Maccabi.
Aminu recorded 11 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks in 24 minutes.
This year he averages 9.7ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.1bpg in 21 games.
#10. Daniel Miller (6'11''-C-91, graduated '14, plays pro in Japan) led Sendai 89ers to a victory against the fifth-ranked Yamagata 77-69 in the Japanese B2 League in Sunday night's game.
Miller recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 5 assists and 3 blocks.
Miller has relatively good stats this season 14.4ppg, 11.4rpg, 3.8apg, 1.7bpg and 1.4spg.
