We bring you last week's top former Razorbacks players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Experienced Sonny Weems (6'6''-G/F-86, graduated '08, plays pro in China) led Guangdong Southern Tigers to a victory over the closely-ranked Leopards (34-12) 128-114 in the Chinese CBA in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Weems scored 33 points (!!!) in 35 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Guangdong Southern Tigers (42-4) are placed first in the CBA. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Weems has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 23.3ppg, 5.9rpg, 6.3apg and 1.6spg in 43 games he played so far.

   #2. Bobby Portis (6'10''-PF-95, graduated '15, plays in the NBA) could not help the Washington Wizards (29-39) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance the Washington Wizards (29-39) were edged 112-111 on the road by the Charlotte Hornets. Portis was the top scorer with 23 points. He also added 9 rebounds and 3 assists. This season Portis has very high stats. He averages 15.5ppg, 9.1rpg and 1.3apg.

   #3. Jabril Durham (6'1''-G-94, graduated '16, currently in Latvia) contributed to a VEF Riga's victory against one of league's weakest teams Parma (3-16) 78-73 in the VTB United League on Sunday night. Durham recorded 15 points and added 6 assists in 26 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. VEF Riga (7-13) is placed tenth in the VTB United League. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the VTB United League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This year Durham averages 7.8ppg, 3.1rpg, 6.4apg and 1.4spg in 16 games.

   #4. Teddy Gipson (6'3''-G-80, graduated '02, plays pro in Holland) was the main contributor in Groningen's victory against one of league's weakest teams Amsterdam (7-19) 72-58 in the Dutch Eredivisie in Saturday night's game. Gipson was MVP of the game. He scored 20 points. Donar Groningen (17-7) is placed fourth in the Eredivisie. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Gipson has relatively good stats this season 10.9ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.5apg.

   #5. Patrick Beverley (6'1''-PG-88, graduated '08, plays in the NBA) helped Los Angeles Clippers win their game against the Boston Celtics (41-27) crushing them 140-115 in the NBA last Monday. Beverley recorded 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in 31 minutes. The Los Angeles Clippers have 39-30 record this season. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Beverley has relatively good stats this year 7.4ppg, 5.0rpg and 3.8apg in 69 games.

   #6. Coty Clarke (6'7''-F-92, graduated '14, currently in Montenegro) was not able to help Buducnost in their game against Olympiacos in the Euroleague. He recorded 9 points. His team was defeated 89-76. This season Clarke averages 6.9ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.2apg.

   #7. Delvon Johnson (6'9''-F/C-89, graduated '11, plays pro in Slovakia) helped Prievidza win their game against the closely-ranked Handlova 77-67 in the Slovakian SBL in Wednesday night's game. Johnson scored 11 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 34 minutes. This year Johnson averages 7.6ppg, 7.6rpg and 2.0apg in 27 games.

   #8. Jaylen Barford (6'3''-G-96, graduated '18, plays in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Greensboro Swarm (21-23) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Barford's good performance the Greensboro Swarm (#3) was defeated 101-97 in Bismarck by the Santa Cruz Warriors. He scored 10 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists. This season Barford has very high stats. He averages 18.4ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg.

   #9. Marshawn Powell (6'7''-PF-90, graduated '13, currently in Italy) helped GSA Udine win their game against the 14th-ranked Termoforgia JE 93-76 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) on Sunday night. Powell was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 16 rebounds in 26 minutes. Powell has very impressive stats this year 15.5ppg, 6.4rpg and 2.3apg in 20 games.

   #10. Rashad Madden (6'5''-G-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Israel) managed to help Hapoel Upper Galilee Safed to win against the closely-ranked Maccabi Haifa 86-73 in the Israeli National League (second division) in Tuesday night's game. Madden recorded 5 points and added 3 passes. This season Madden has very high stats. He averages 15.4ppg, 6.9rpg and 4.7apg.
