EuroBasket Pro Green Wave Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Green Wave alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Jordan Callahan (6'1''-PG-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Greece). He could not help Peristeri GS (12-6) to beat Ifestos (10-8) in the Greek A1. Callahan scored 9 points in only 13 minutes. But Peristeri GS was defeated 77-73 on the road by the lower-ranked Ifestos (#7). This season Callahan averages 6.7ppg and 1.8apg.

   #2. Kris Richard (6'5''-G-89, graduated '11, plays in Romania) led Oradea to a victory against the fourth-ranked Craiova (11-9) 83-79 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Friday night's game. He scored 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. CSM CSU Oradea (12-8) is placed third in Group Red. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. Richard has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.1ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4spg in 20 games he played so far. Richard is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

   #3. Cameron Reynolds (6'8''-G-95, graduated '18, currently in the NBA) managed to help Minnesota Timberwolves to win against the Washington Wizards (28-39) 135-130 in the NBA last Saturday. He scored 5 points in 20 minutes. The Minnesota Timberwolves have 32-35 record this season. This year Reynolds averages 3.0ppg.

   #4. Tomas Bruha (7'0''-C-88, graduated '14, plays pro in Czech Republic) was not able to help Sokol Prazky (9-13) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the third-placed Sokol Prazky (9-13) lost 75-82 in Opava to the lower-ranked (#4) B&W B in the Places 13-20 group. Bruha was the top scorer with 25 points. He also added 8 rebounds. It was Sokol Prazky's first loss after three consecutive victories. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game is very crucial. It's Bruha's fourth season with the team. Bruha has relatively good stats this year 12.4ppg and 5.8rpg in 20 games.

   #5. Ryan Smith (6'11''-C-95, graduated '17, plays in Switzerland) was not able to secure a victory for Starwings (4-14) in their game last Saturday. Despite his good performance Starwings was crushed 94-71 at home by the higher-ranked Monthey (#5). Smith recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 12 rebounds in 34 minutes. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. It's Smith's first season with the team. This year Smith averages 8.7ppg and 6.7rpg.

   #6. Kendall Timmons (6'5''-G/F-90, graduated '13, currently in Germany) couldn't help Vilsbiburg in their game against Treuchtlingen in the German Regionalliga (fourth division), despite his very good performance on Sunday night. Timmons was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. But his team lost 76-83. Timmons has very impressive stats this year 20.0ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.7apg and 2.7spg in six games.

Linton Johnson III (6'8''-F/C-80) plays for Caserta in Italian Serie C
