EuroBasket Pro Aggies Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Aggies alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Pascal Siakam (6'9''-F-94, graduated '16, plays pro in the NBA) could not help the Toronto Raptors (47-19) in their game last Sunday. Despite his very good performance the Toronto Raptors (47-19) were defeated 112-107 on the road by the Detroit Pistons.
Siakam was the second best scorer with 21 points. He also added 9 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 44 minutes.
Siakam has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 16.4ppg, 7.0rpg and 2.9apg.
#2. Jonathan Gibson (6'2''-PG-87, graduated '10, plays in China) was not able to help Qingdao Eagles (13-32) in their last game. Despite Gibson's very good performance Qingdao Eagles were badly defeated 136-118 in Jinjiang by the much higher-ranked (#7) Sturgeons.
He was the second best scorer with 31 points. Gibson also added 6 rebounds.
His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
It's Gibson's first season with the team.
Gibson has very impressive stats this year 33.4ppg, 6.2rpg, 3.6apg and 1.4spg in 42 games he played so far.
#3. Tshilidzi Nephawe (6'10''-C-89, graduated '15, currently in Japan), who plays in the Japanese B2 League was not able to secure a victory for Kumamoto Volters (33-13) in their game last Saturday. Despite Nephawe's very good performance the first-placed Kumamoto Volters (33-13) were defeated 79-67 in Hiroshima by the lower-ranked Dragonflies (#3) in the West group.
He was the top scorer with 20 points. Nephawe also added 9 rebounds in 32 minutes.
Nephawe has relatively good stats this season 14.6ppg, 11.3rpg and 1.5bpg.
#4. Daniel Mullings (6'3''-G-91, graduated '15, plays pro in Finland) couldn't help Joensuun Kataja Basket (16-11) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Joensuun Kataja Basket lost 93-100 in Nokia to the lower-ranked (#8) BC Nokia.
Mullings recorded 17 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals.
Mullings has very impressive stats this year 16.0ppg, 7.7rpg, 2.5apg and 2.3spg in 23 games.
He has also Jamaican nationality.
#5. Wendell McKines (6'6''-F-88, graduated '12, plays in Uruguay) led Malvin to a victory over the second-ranked Aguada (1-1) 81-72 in a derby game in the Uruguayan LUB in Tuesday night's game.
McKines was MVP of the game. He scored 17 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 25 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-6. Malvin Montevideo (2-0) is placed first.
There are only three games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game is very crucial.
This season McKines has very high stats. He averages 16.0ppg, 7.5rpg and 3.5apg.
#6. Jemerrio Jones (6'5''-G-95, graduated '18, currently in the NBA G League) contributed to a South Bay Lakers' victory against the Salt Lake City Stars 118-109 in the NBA G League last Saturday.
He scored 16 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 5 assists.
This year Jones averages 8.5ppg, 9.0rpg, 3.1apg and 1.5spg in 40 games.
#7. Ian Baker (6'1''-G-93, graduated '17, plays pro in Poland) couldn't help Trefl Sopot (4-17) in their game last Saturday. Despite Baker's very good performance the bottom-ranked Trefl Sopot was badly defeated 75-58 in Warszawa by the much higher-ranked Legia (#9).
He was the top scorer with 18 points. Baker also added 3 passes in 36 minutes.
Baker has relatively good stats this season 13.2ppg, 2.6rpg, 4.8apg and 1.1spg.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
#8. Experienced Hatila Passos (6'11''-C-85, graduated '08, plays in Uruguay) is a teammate of previously mentioned Wendell McKines and both played together in the last Uruguayan LUB game.
Passos helped Malvin win their game against the second-ranked Aguada 81-72 in a derby game.
He scored 8 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and dished 4 assists.
Passos has relatively good stats this year 10.6ppg, 10.3rpg and 1.3apg in 24 games.
He has also Uruguayan passport.
#9. Bandja Sy (6'9''-F-90, graduated '13, currently in Serbia) managed to help BC Partizan NiS Beograd to win against the tenth-ranked Igokea 67-57 in the ABA League last Saturday.
Sy scored only 2 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 22 minutes.
This season Sy averages 6.8ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.4apg.
He has also French citizenship.
