EuroBasket Pro Spartans Weekly Update

We bring you last week's top former Spartans players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Experienced Kyle Hines (6'6''-C-86, played in 2004-08, plays pro in Russia) led his Russian team CSKA to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Olympiacos (12-12) 97-81 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game.
He scored 15 points, had 5 rebounds and made 4 blocks in a mere 19 minutes.
CSKA Moscow (18-6) is placed second in the Euroleague.
It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Hines' sixth season with the team.
This year Hines averages 7.1ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.3apg in 24 games he played so far.
#2. Ricky Hickman (6'3''-SG-85, graduated '07, plays in Germany) contributed to a Brose Baskets Bamberg's victory against the closely-ranked Giessen 46ers (11-11) 97-90 in the German BBL last Saturday.
Hickman recorded 7 points and added 5 passes.
Brose Baskets Bamberg (15-5) is placed fifth in the BBL.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
Hickman has relatively good stats this season 11.6ppg, 2.7rpg and 3.0apg.
He is a naturalized Georgian.
#3. Nicholas Paulos (6'7''-G/F-91, graduated '15, currently in Sweden) led KFUM Jamtland Basket to a victory against the closely-ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (11-7) 94-82 in the Swedish Basketligan on Saturday night.
He recorded 12 points and added 3 assists in 30 minutes.
KFUM Jamtland Basket (20-12) is placed fifth in the Basketligan.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Paulos has relatively good stats this year 11.1ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.4apg in 32 games.
He is a naturalized Greek.
#4. Mikko Koivisto (6'5''-SG-87, graduated '10, plays pro in Finland) helped Vilpas win their game against one of league's weakest teams UU-Korihait (8-21) crushing them 102-81 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Wednesday night's game.
He scored 9 points.
Salon Vilpas Vikings (26-4) is placed first in the Korisliiga.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
This season Koivisto averages 9.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.6apg.
#5. Jordy Kuiper (6'9''-F-95, graduated '18, plays in Iceland) could not help Grindavik (7-2) in their last game. Despite his good performance Grindavik lost 94-103 at home to the lower-ranked (#5) KR.
Kuiper recorded 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 34 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
Kuiper has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.1ppg, 7.5rpg and 2.2apg in 19 games.
#6. Kayel Locke (6'5''-F-94, graduated '16, currently in Holland) managed to help Landstede Basketbal Zwolle to win against the eighth-ranked Leeuwarden 78-71 in the Dutch Eredivisie on Saturday night.
Locke recorded only 2 points.
This season Locke averages 8.8ppg and 3.5rpg.
