Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Miners players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Vincent Hunter (6'8''-PF-94, graduated '15, plays pro in Greece) led AEK to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Promitheas (11-6) crushing them 83-62 in the Greek A1 on Saturday night.
He scored 11 points in 28 minutes.
AEK Athens (12-5) is placed third in the A1.
It's Hunter's first season with the team.
Hunter has relatively good stats this year 13.2ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.4apg and 1.6spg.
#2. Julyan Stone (6'6''-PG-88, graduated '11, plays in Italy) managed to help Umana Reyer Venezia in a 1-point victory against the seventh-ranked Virtus Bologna (10-10) 77-76 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night's game.
Stone scored 5 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Umana Reyer Venezia (14-6) is placed second in the Serie A.
This year Stone averages 6.9ppg, 6.4rpg and 3.6apg in 18 games he played so far.
#3. Earvin Morris (6'5''-G-94, graduated '16, currently in Sweden) was the major contributor in a BC Lulea's victory against one of league's weakest teams Koping Stars (8-23) 87-79 in the Swedish Basketligan last Friday.
Morris recorded 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in 25 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. BC Lulea (23-8) is placed third in the Basketligan.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Morris has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 15.3ppg, 4.6rpg, 1.9apg and 2.0spg.
#4. John Bohannon (6'11''-F-91, graduated '14, plays pro in the NBA G League) led Maine Red Claws to an easy victory against the Delaware Blue Coats (15-23) crushing them 124-102 in the NBA G League on Friday night.
He had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 16 rebounds. Bohannon also added 8 assists and 3 blocks.
The Maine Red Claws have 17-23 record this season.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
This year Bohannon averages 7.1ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.4apg and 1.5bpg in 32 games.
#5. Randy Culpepper (6'0''-PG-89, graduated '11, plays in Turkey) could not help Afyon Belediyespor (1-15) in their game last Sunday. Despite his good performance Afyon Belediyespor was defeated 75-70 on the road by the league outsider Istanbul BBSK (#15).
Culpepper was the second best scorer with 13 points. He also added 7 rebounds and 6 assists in 35 minutes.
This season Culpepper averages 7.1ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.4apg and 1.5bpg.
#6. Dominic Artis (6'4''-G-93, graduated '17, currently in Italy) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams VL Pesaro in their game against Germani BR in the Italian Serie A.
Artis scored 5 points and added 5 passes.
His team lost 86-92.
Artis has relatively good stats this year 13.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 3.7apg and 2.2spg in 19 games.
#7. Lee Moore (6'4''-G-95, graduated '16, plays pro in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels in their game against Crailsheim Merlins in the German BBL.
Moore recorded 7 points in 28 minutes.
His team was defeated 87-82.
Moore has relatively good stats this season 11.9ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.5apg and 1.5spg.
#8. Experienced Joe Devance (6'7''-C-82, graduated '04, plays in Philippines) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Ginebra Kings in their game against Alaska Aces in the Filipino PBA. Devance cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones.
He scored only 2 points.
His team were crushed by 26 points 104-78.
This year Devance averages 7.2ppg, 3.8rpg and 2.0apg in five games.
He is a naturalized Filipino.
#9. Jason Williams (6'7''-G/F-83, graduated '06, currently in France) contributed to a 1-point Chorale de Roanne Basket's victory against the fifth-ranked C'Chartres 67-66 in the French ProB (second division) last Friday.
He recorded only 4 points in 21 minutes.
Williams has relatively good stats this season 12.6ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.6apg and 1.5spg.
