Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Cyclones players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Will Clyburn (6'7''-SF-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Russia) led his Russian team CSKA to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Olympiacos (12-12) 97-81 in the Euroleague on Friday night.
He scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 23 minutes.
CSKA Moscow (18-6) is placed second in the Euroleague.
It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row.
Clyburn has relatively good stats this season 14.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg.
#2. Monte Morris (6'3''-PG-95, graduated '17, plays in the NBA) led Denver Nuggets to an easy victory against the Los Angeles Clippers (35-29) crushing them 123-96 in the NBA in Sunday night's game.
Morris recorded 12 points and added 5 passes.
The Denver Nuggets have a solid 42-19 record this season.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
Morris has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg, 2.6rpg and 3.8apg in 61 games he played so far.
#3. Hans-George Brase (6'9''-F-93, graduated '18, currently in Germany), who plays in the German BBL could not help one of league's weakest teams Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels (4-17) in their game last Friday. Despite his very good performance Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels was defeated 87-82 on the road by the higher-ranked Crailsheim Merlins (#16).
Brase was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 9 rebounds in 28 minutes.
This season Brase averages 5.3ppg and 3.7rpg.
#4. DeAndre Kane (6'5''-F/G-89, graduated '14, plays pro in Israel) managed to help Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv in a victory against the league outsider Darussafaka (3-21) 77-58 in the Euroleague on Thursday night.
He scored 5 points.
Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv (11-13) is placed tenth in the Euroleague.
This year Kane averages 8.8ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg in 22 games.
He is a naturalized Hungarian.
#5. Craig Brackins (6'10''-PF-87, graduated '10, plays in Japan) was not able to help Nagoya Diamond Dolphins (22-19) in their game last Saturday. Despite his good performance the third-placed Nagoya Diamond Dolphins (22-19) were defeated 85-72 in Niigata by the leading Albirex in the West group.
Brackins scored 10 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 36 minutes.
Brackins has relatively good stats this season 14.3ppg, 7.4rpg and 2.8apg.
#6. Matt Thomas (6'5''-G-94, graduated '17, currently in Spain) contributed to a 1-point Valencia Basket's victory against the league outsider Gipuzkoa 67-66 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Saturday.
Thomas scored only 2 points.
Thomas has relatively good stats this year 11.2ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.7apg in 21 games.
#7. Abdel Nader (6'6''-F-93, graduated '16, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Oklahoma City Thunder in their game against the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA.
Nader scored 5 points in 17 minutes.
His team was defeated 108-104 in the NBA.
This season Nader averages 3.8ppg and 1.7rpg.
He is a naturalized Egyptian.
#8. Daniel Edozie (6'8''-F-92, graduated '15, plays in United Kingdom) couldn't help Bristol Academy Flyers in their game against Newcastle Eagles in the British BBL. He cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones.
Edozie scored only 2 points.
His team lost 89-95.
This year Edozie averages 6.8ppg, 7.8rpg, 2.1apg and 1.2spg in 19 games.
#9. Korie Lucious (5'11''-PG-89, graduated '13, currently in Brazil) contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked Campo Mourao crushing them 105-72 in the Brazilian Liga Ouro (second division) last Thursday.
He recorded 9 points and added 6 passes in 25 minutes.
This season Lucious averages 8.5ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.3apg and 1.8spg.
