EuroBasket Pro Panthers Weekly Update

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Panthers players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Steven Adams (7'0''-C/F-93, graduated '13, plays pro in the NBA) led Oklahoma City Thunder to a 1-point victory against the Utah Jazz (35-26) 148-147 in the NBA on Friday night.
He recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 10 rebounds. Adams also added 3 assists and 5 steals in 47 minutes.
The Oklahoma City Thunder has a solid 38-23 record this season.
It's Adams' sixth year with the team.
He has individually a very good year with high stats. Adams averages 14.6ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.6spg.
#2. Sheldon Jeter (6'8''-F-94, graduated '17, plays in the NBA G League) led Maine Red Claws to a 3-point victory over the Delaware Blue Coats (15-23) 112-109 in the NBA G League in Friday night's game.
He was MVP of the game. Jeter recorded 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. The Maine Red Claws have 17-23 record this season.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
It's Jeter's first year with the team.
This season Jeter averages 7.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.1apg in 30 games he played so far.
#3. Experienced Tyrell Biggs (6'8''-F-86, graduated '09, currently in Cyprus) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Apollon (9-9) crushing them 84-64 in the Cypriot Division A last Wednesday.
He scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 28 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Petrolina AEK Larnaca (13-4) is placed second in the Division A.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
This season Biggs averages 8.1ppg and 3.5rpg.
He is a naturalized Cypriot.
#4. Talib Zanna (6'9''-F/C-90, graduated '14, plays pro in Israel). He could not help Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona (8-11) to beat Hapoel Tel-Aviv (8-11) in the Israeli Winner League.
Zanna recorded 8 points and had 4 steals.
Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona lost 85-89 on the road to the higher-ranked (#7) Hapoel Tel-Aviv.
It was Ironi Hai Motors Nes-Ziona's third consecutive loss in a row.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
Zanna has relatively good stats this year 10.8ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.3spg in six games.
#5. Antonio Graves (6'3''-G-85, graduated '07, plays in Turkey) led OGM Orman to a victory over the league outsider Edirne (2-18) crushing them 108-74 in the Turkish TBL (second division) in Friday night's game.
He was MVP of the game. Graves scored 19 points and added 6 passes in a mere 19 minutes.
OGM Ormanspor Genclik Ankara (15-5) is placed second in the TBL.
Graves has relatively good stats this season 14.1ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.6apg and 1.1spg.
#6. Lamar Patterson (6'5''-G/F-91, graduated '14, currently in Australia) was not able to help Brisbane Bullets in their game against Perth Wildcats in the Australian NBL.
Patterson recorded 9 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists.
His team were crushed by 30 points 89-59.
Patterson has very impressive stats this year 17.7ppg, 6.3rpg, 3.8apg and 1.2spg in 23 games.
#7. Aron Nwankwo (6'8''-F-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Ukraine) was not able to secure a victory for Kyiv Basket in their game against Mykolaiv in the Ukrainian Superleague.
Nwankwo scored only 4 points in 10 minutes.
His team was defeated 83-79.
This season Nwankwo averages 6.6ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.4apg.
#8. DeJuan Blair (6'7''-F/C-89, graduated '09, plays in the NBA G League) couldn't help the Austin Spurs in their game against the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario in the NBA G League. Blair cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones.
He scored only 2 points.
His team lost 96-110 in the NBA G League.
This year Blair averages 7.1ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.3apg in 18 games.
#9. Chase Adams (5'10''-PG-88, graduated '10, currently in Germany), who plays in the German ProB (third division) couldn't help Coburg (9-13) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance the ninth-placed Coburg was defeated 74-69 in Frankfurt by the higher-ranked Fraport Skyliners II (#3) in the South group.
Adams was the top scorer with 21 points. He also added 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals (made all of his eight free throws) in 37 minutes.
This season Adams has very high stats. He averages 15.9ppg, 5.6rpg, 5.9apg and 2.8spg.
