Here is the weekly review of the top performing Roadrunners alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Dedrick Basile (5'10''-PG-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Finland) led Oulun NMKY to a 2-point victory over the seventh-ranked Jyvaskyla BA (9-14) 81-79 in the Finnish 1st Division (second division) on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Basile recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added and 3 steals in 40 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Basile's second season in pro basketball. Oulun NMKY (10-8) is placed sixth in Division A. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Basile has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 22.8ppg, 9.7rpg, 4.3apg and 3.7spg.

   #2. Shon Briggs (6'6''-G/F-95, graduated '18, plays in Finland) is a teammate of previously mentioned Dedrick Basile and both played together in the last Finnish 1st Division game. Briggs was the major contributor in a 2-point Oulun NMKY's victory against the seventh-ranked Jyvaskyla BA (9-14) 81-79. He had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 16 rebounds. Briggs also added 6 assists; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. Briggs has very impressive stats this year 21.8ppg, 9.8rpg, 3.4apg and 1.3spg in 16 games he played so far. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

   #3. Tyrell Corbin (6'1''-PG-92, graduated '15, currently in the NBA G League) contributed to a Stockton Kings' victory against the Texas Legends (14-27) 116-109 in the NBA G League last Tuesday. Corbin scored 6 points in only 13 minutes. The Stockton Kings have a solid 25-15 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This season Corbin averages 1.3ppg and 1.3apg.

   #4. Alex Johnson (5'10''-PG-88, played in 2007-11, plays pro in Canada) helped London Lightning win their game against the St. John's Edge (17-14) 121-103 in the NBLCanada on Thursday night. He scored 8 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 5 assists. The London Lightning has 18-16 record this season. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. It's Johnson's first year with the team. This season Johnson averages 9.0ppg, 3.2rpg and 3.7apg in 23 games.
