Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Chippewas players who continue their career in pro basketball.



   #1. Experienced Andre Coimbra (6'9''-PF-86, graduated '12, plays pro in Brazil) contributed to a Sao Jose's victory against the 11th-ranked SKY/Basquete (7-15) 86-76 in the Brazilian NBB in Wednesday night's game. He scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 18 minutes. Sao Jose dos Campos (4-6) is placed third in the NBB. This year Coimbra averages 4.9ppg and 3.3rpg in 20 games he played so far.

   #2. Rayshawn Simmons (6'4''-G-93, graduated '16, plays in Germany) led Team Ehingen Urspring to a victory against the eighth-ranked Uni Baskets (3-9) 96-85 in the German ProA (second division) last Sunday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and making 10 passes. Simmons also added 7 rebounds. Team Ehingen Urspring (14-9) is placed fourth in the ProA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Simmons has relatively good stats this season 12.9ppg, 3.8rpg and 9.5apg.

   #3. Marcus Van (6'7''-F/C-87, graduated '09, currently in Spain) helped Albacete win their game against the fourth-ranked Villarrobledo (13-9) 80-74 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) on Saturday night. Van had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 13 rebounds (made all of his five free throws) in 25 minutes. Arcos Albacete Basket (10-12) is placed seventh in East group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Van's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg, 9.5rpg and 1.1apg in 22 games.

   #4. Cecil Williams (6'6''-PF-95, graduated '18, plays pro in France). He could not help Sorgues BC (11-13) to beat Orchesien BC (15-9) in the French NM1 (third division). Williams scored 5 points and added 3 passes. The sixth-placed Sorgues BC (11-13) was crushed 87-66 on the road by the higher-ranked Orchesien BC (#5) in the Group A. It was Sorgues BC's fourth consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Williams' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.5ppg, 5.1rpg and 2.1apg.

   #5. Braylon Rayson (5'9''-PG-94, graduated '17, plays in Canada) was not able to help the Sudbury Five (16-15) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Sudbury Five (#3) lost 114-119 in Windsor to the lower-ranked (#4) Express. Rayson was the top scorer with 29 points. He also added 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 45 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Rayson's second season in pro basketball. It's Rayson's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this season 13.5ppg, 5.1rpg and 2.1apg in 21 games.

   #6. Marcus Keene (5'11''-PG-95, graduated '17, currently in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Memphis Hustle in their game against the Iowa Wolves in the NBA G League. Keene scored 8 points. His team was badly defeated by 20 points 136-116 in the NBA G League. This season he averages 8.2ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.8apg.

Sefton Barrett (6'5''-SF-83) played for Windsor Express in the NBL Canada few monts ago
