EuroBasket Pro Yellow Jackets Weekly Update

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Yellow Jackets players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Charles Mitchell (6'8''-F/C-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Argentina) led Ferro to a victory over the 13th-ranked Olimpico de La Banda (8-9) 88-84 in the Argentinian La Liga on Sunday night.
He was MVP of the game. Mitchell recorded 26 points (!!!), 4 rebounds and 4 assists in 30 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Ferrocarril Oeste (12-5) is placed second in the La Liga.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
Mitchell has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.1ppg, 9.2rpg and 2.0apg.
#2. Josh Okogie (6'4''-G-98, graduated '18, plays in the NBA) contributed to a Minnesota Timberwolves' victory against the Houston Rockets (33-24) 121-111 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game.
He scored 16 points and added 4 assists; not bad, considering it's only Okogie's first season in pro basketball. The Minnesota Timberwolves have 27-30 record this season.
It's Okogie's first year with the team.
He has relatively good stats this year 7.6ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.2apg in 49 games he played so far.
Okogie is a naturalized Nigerian.
#3. Derrick Favors (6'10''-F-91, graduated '10, currently in the NBA), who plays in the NBA could not help the Utah Jazz (32-25) in their game last Tuesday. Despite Favors' good performance the Utah Jazz (32-25) was defeated 115-108 at home by the Golden State Warriors.
He recorded 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks in 25 minutes.
It's Favors' eighth season with the team.
Favors has relatively good stats this year 11.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.1apg and 1.3bpg.
#4. Trae Golden (6'3''-G-91, graduated '14, plays pro in Russia) helped his Russian team Avtodor win their game against the closely-ranked Kalev/Cramo (7-10) 112-109 in the VTB United League on Thursday night.
He scored 18 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 7 assists (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line).
Avtodor Saratov (7-10) is placed eighth in the VTB United League.
It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses.
There are only three games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Golden's first season with the team.
Golden has very impressive stats this year 16.8ppg, 2.4rpg and 7.4apg in 17 games.
#5. Glen Rice Jr. (6'6''-G/F-91, graduated '12, plays in Argentina) was the major contributor in Instituto's victory against the league outsider Atenas (3-13) 91-81 in a derby game in the Argentinian La Liga in Wednesday night's game.
Rice Jr. recorded 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds (made all of his five free throws) in 28 minutes.
Instituto Atletico Central Cordoba (9-6) is placed tenth in the La Liga.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
This season Rice Jr. has very high stats. He averages 16.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.0apg and 1.8spg.
#6. Experienced Anthony McHenry (6'8''-SF-83, graduated '05, currently in Japan) was the main contributor in a Shinshu BW's victory against the second-ranked Shimane Magic crushing them 75-54 in the Japanese B2 League last Saturday.
He was MVP of the game. McHenry had a double-double by scoring 34 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 5 assists and 3 steals.
McHenry has very impressive stats this year 18.3ppg, 10.0rpg, 5.2apg, 1.3bpg and 1.7spg in 37 games.
#7. Daniel Miller (6'11''-C-91, graduated '14, plays pro in Japan) helped Sendai 89ers win their game against the third-ranked Cyberdyne IR crushing them 99-77 in the Japanese B2 League on Saturday night.
Miller recorded 26 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 7 assists and made 4 blocks in 38 minutes.
Miller has relatively good stats this season 14.0ppg, 11.1rpg, 3.8apg, 1.7bpg and 1.4spg.
#8. Thaddeus Young (6'8''-F-88, graduated '07, plays in the NBA) was not able to help the Indiana Pacers in their game against the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA.
Young scored 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
His team lost 97-106 in the NBA.
Young has very impressive stats this year 12.5ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.2apg and 1.6spg in 58 games.
#9. Adam Smith (6'1''-PG-92, graduated '16, currently in Italy) helped Orasi RAV win their game against the ninth-ranked A.Costa IM 87-80 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Sunday.
He was MVP of the game. Smith recorded 27 points (!!!) and grabbed 6 rebounds in 39 minutes.
This season Smith has very high stats. He averages 22.7ppg, 3.5rpg and 2.6apg.
#10. Joshua Heath (5'11''-PG-94, graduated '17, plays pro in Slovenia) was not able to secure a victory for Ilirija (19-0) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the league leader Ilirija was badly defeated 92-73 on the road by the lower-ranked (#7) Zlatorog.
Heath was the top scorer with 16 points. He also added 9 rebounds and dished 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line).
Heath has relatively good stats this year 14.6ppg, 4.3rpg, 5.7apg and 1.3spg in 16 games.
