We bring you last week's top former Racers players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Terrell Miller Jr. (6'8''-F-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Japan) led Hiroshima Dragonflies to a victory over the sixth-ranked Tokyo HT (7-34) crushing them 109-89 in the Japanese B2 League on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Miller Jr. recorded a double-double by scoring 31 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 5 assists and 4 steals in 38 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Miller Jr.'s first season in pro basketball. Hiroshima Dragonflies (27-14) are placed third in West group. Miller Jr. has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 21.9ppg, 9.8rpg and 4.6apg.

   #2. Jonathan Stark (6'0''-G-95, graduated '18, plays in the NBA G League) contributed to an easy victory against the Memphis Hustle (21-16) crushing them 136-116 in the NBA G League in Wednesday night's game. He scored 22 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 6 assists; not bad, considering it's only Stark's first season in pro basketball. The Iowa Wolves have 15-24 record this season. It's Stark's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.2ppg, 3.2rpg, 5.4apg and 1.1spg in 36 games he played so far.

   #3. Isaiah Canaan (6'0''-PG-91, graduated '13, currently in the NBA) managed to help Minnesota Timberwolves to win against the Houston Rockets (33-24) 121-111 in the NBA last Wednesday. Canaan scored only 3 points in 6 minutes on the court. The Minnesota Timberwolves have 27-30 record this season. This year Canaan averages 4.7ppg and 2.7apg.

   #4. Wayne Langston (6'7''-F-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Israel) contributed to a Maccabi Raanana's victory against the eighth-ranked Elitzur Yavne (9-11) 107-93 in the Israeli National League (second division) on Tuesday night. He scored 25 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Maccabi Raanana (9-11) is placed first in the National League. Langston has very impressive stats this year 17.8ppg, 7.5rpg, 2.3apg and 1.3spg in 19 games.

   #5. T.J. Sapp (6'3''-G-92, graduated '15, plays in Spain) could not help Caceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad (4-13) in their game last Friday. Despite Sapp's good performance Caceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad was defeated 75-68 on the road by the higher-ranked Magia_Huesca (#3). He was the second best scorer with 12 points in a mere 16 minutes. This season Sapp averages 9.4ppg and 2.1rpg. He is a naturalized Jamaican.

   #6. Experienced Ed Horton (6'1''-PG-85, graduated '07, currently in Canada), who plays in the NBL Canada was not able to help the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans (13-14) in their last game. Despite Horton's very good performance the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans (#5) were edged 106-104 in Greater Sudbury by the higher-ranked (#3) Sudbury Five. He was the top scorer with 30 points. Horton also added 9 rebounds and dished 4 assists (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line). This year Horton averages 9.4ppg and 2.1rpg in 14 games. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
