EuroBasket Pro Longhorns Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Longhorns alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Avery Bradley (6'2''-PG-90, graduated '10, plays pro in the NBA) could not help the Memphis Grizzlies (23-36) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Memphis Grizzlies (23-36) were edged 108-107 on the road by the San Antonio Spurs. Bradley was the top scorer with 33 points. He also added 6 rebounds and 6 assists in 38 minutes. Bradley has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 18.7ppg, 2.7rpg and 4.3apg in three games he played so far.

   #2. Kevin Durant (6'9''-SF-88, graduated '07, plays in the NBA) was not able to help the Golden State Warriors (41-16) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Durant's very good performance the Golden State Warriors (41-16) were crushed 129-107 in Portland by the Trail Blazers. He was the top scorer with 32 points. Durant also added 4 rebounds and made 3 blocks. This season Durant has very high stats. He averages 27.6ppg, 7.0rpg, 5.9apg and 1.1bpg.

   #3. Experienced LaMarcus Aldridge (6'11''-F/C-85, graduated '06, currently in the NBA) faced previously mentioned Avery Bradley in the NBA last game. Aldridge led San Antonio Spurs to a 1-point victory over the Memphis Grizzlies (23-36) 108-107. He was MVP of the game. Aldridge had a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 4 blocks in 35 minutes. It's Aldridge's fourth season with the team. Aldridge has very impressive stats this year 21.0ppg, 9.0rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2bpg in 58 games.

   #4. J'Covan Brown (6'2''-PG-90, graduated '12, plays pro in Israel) contributed to a Hapoel Jerusalem's victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel Eilat (11-7) 82-70 in the Israeli Winner League in Sunday night's game. He scored 10 points and added 5 passes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Hapoel Jerusalem (13-5) is placed third in the Winner League. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Brown's first season with the team. Brown has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg, 2.3rpg and 4.1apg.

   #5. Jarrett Allen (6'11''-F-98, graduated '17, plays in the NBA) helped Brooklyn Nets win their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers (12-46) 148-139 in the NBA last Wednesday. Allen had a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 3 assists and 6 blocks in 42 minutes. The Brooklyn Nets have 30-29 record this season. Allen has very impressive stats this year 11.2ppg, 8.6rpg, 1.5apg and 1.6bpg in 57 games.

   #6. Ira Clark (6'8''-C/F-75, graduated '98, currently in South Korea) led Mobis Phoebus to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked DB Promy 99-82 in the South Korean KBL on Friday night. He recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 14 rebounds. This season Clark averages 4.4ppg and 3.0rpg.

   #7. Myles Turner (6'11''-C/F-96, graduated '15, plays pro in the NBA) was not able to secure a victory for the Indiana Pacers (38-20) in their last game. Despite Turner's good performance the Indiana Pacers lost 97-106 in Milwaukee to the Bucks. He scored 11 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 28 minutes. Turner has very impressive stats this year 13.5ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.6apg and 2.7bpg in 53 games.

   #8. P.J. Tucker (6'6''-F-85, graduated '06, plays in the NBA) couldn't help the Houston Rockets in their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA. He scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. His team were defeated 121-111 in the NBA. Tucker has relatively good stats this season 7.6ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.6spg.

   #9. D.J. Augustin (6'0''-PG-87, graduated '08, currently in the NBA) helped Orlando Magic win their game against the Charlotte Hornets crushing them 127-89 in the NBA on Thursday night. He scored 8 points and added 7 passes in 22 minutes. Augustin has very impressive stats this year 11.4ppg, 2.2rpg and 4.9apg in 58 games.

   #10. Connor Lammert (6'9''-F-94, graduated '16, plays pro in Japan) was the major contributor in a Cyberdyne IR's victory against the second-ranked Sendai 89ers 60-53 in the Japanese B2 League in Sunday night's game. He scored 16 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and made 3 blocks. This season Lammert has very high stats. He averages 15.7ppg, 10.1rpg, 2.5apg and 1.4bpg.
