EuroBasket Pro Musketeers Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Musketeers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Jalen Reynolds (6'10''-F-92, graduated '16, plays pro in Russia) could not help Zenit Sankt Petersburg (10-6) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Zenit Sankt Petersburg was edged 102-101 on the road by the lower-ranked (#11) VEF Riga.
Reynolds had a double-double by scoring 32 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 3 assists and 3 steals in 40 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Reynolds' third season in pro basketball. It was Zenit Sankt Petersburg's first loss after five consecutive victories.
There are only three games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Reynolds has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.7ppg, 8.5rpg, 1.4apg and 1.6spg in 16 games he played so far.
#2. Kaiser Gates (6'8''-F-96, graduated '18, plays in the NBA G League) led Windy City Bulls to a victory over the Wisconsin Herd (9-26) 126-110 in the NBA G League last Tuesday.
He was MVP of the game. Gates recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 4 assists; not bad, considering it's only Gates' first season in pro basketball. The Windy City Bulls have 20-17 record this season.
It's Gates' first year with the team.
He has relatively good stats this year 12.5ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.9apg.
#3. Sean O'Mara (6'10''-F/C-95, graduated '18, currently in Finland), who plays in the Finnish Korisliiga was not able to help BC Nokia (10-5) in their last game. Despite O'Mara's very good performance BC Nokia lost 93-104 in Tampere to the lower-ranked (#3) en Pyrinto.
He had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 11 rebounds. O'Mara also added 2 blocks in 35 minutes.
It was BC Nokia's third consecutive loss in a row.
O'Mara has very impressive stats this year 18.4ppg, 8.2rpg and 2.1apg in 28 games.
#4. Matt Stainbrook (6'10''-C-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Real Betis (19-3) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Stainbrook's good performance the league leader Real Betis was crushed 92-58 in S'Arenal by the much lower-ranked Palma (#10).
He was the second best scorer with 12 points.
It's Stainbrook's first season with the team.
This year Stainbrook averages 7.8ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.6apg.
#5. Travis Taylor (6'8''-F-90, graduated '13, plays in Turkey) couldn't help Bandirma Kirmizi (5-14) in their last game. Despite Taylor's good performance Bandirma Kirmizi was crushed 85-61 in Ankara by the much higher-ranked (#7) OGM Orman.
He had a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting 14 rebounds. Taylor also added and 3 steals in 32 minutes.
Taylor has relatively good stats this year 14.2ppg, 12.8rpg, 2.1apg and 1.8spg in 12 games.
#6. Benjamin Raymond (6'6''-G/F-87, graduated '09, currently in Italy), who plays in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) couldn't help A.Costa IM (10-12) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Raymond's good performance the ninth-placed A.Costa IM was defeated 87-80 in Ravenna by the higher-ranked Orasi RAV (#8) in the East group.
He recorded 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
This season Raymond has very high stats. He averages 19.7ppg, 6.7rpg and 2.3apg.
#7. Kenny Frease (7'0''-C-89, graduated '12, plays pro in Switzerland) contributed to Monthey's victory against the closely-ranked Lakers 97-85 in the Swiss SBL in Tuesday night's game.
He had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Frease also added 3 blocks in 27 minutes.
This year Frease averages 9.8ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3bpg in 16 games.
#8. Experienced Justin Cage (6'6''-F-85, graduated '07, plays in Belgium) couldn't help Belfius Mons-Hainaut in their game against Spirou Charleroi in the Belgian Euromillions League.
Cage scored 6 points and added 3 assists.
His team was edged 90-87.
This season Cage averages 5.5ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.6apg.
#9. James Farr (6'10''-F-92, graduated '16, currently in Germany) contributed to a Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels' surprising victory against the eighth-ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg 77-76 in the German BBL on Wednesday night.
Farr scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 17 minutes.
Farr has relatively good stats this year 10.3ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.3apg in 19 games.
