We bring you last week's top former Friars players who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Bryce Cotton (6'1''-G-92, graduated '14, plays pro in Australia) led Perth Wildcats to a victory over the closely-ranked Adelaide 36ers (14-14) 93-85 in the Australian NBL in Friday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Cotton scored 29 points (!!!), made 3 passes and 3 steals in 38 minutes. Perth Wildcats (18-10) are placed second in the NBL. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Cotton's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Cotton averages 22.5ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.0apg and 1.2spg in 25 games he played so far.

   #2. Ricky Ledo (6'7''-F/G-92, graduated '13, plays in China) was the main contributor in a Beijing Dragons' surprising victory against the sixth-ranked Beijing Ducks (26-14) 104-102 in a derby game in the Chinese CBA last Thursday. Ledo was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 34 points and getting 10 rebounds. Ledo also added 3 assists. Beijing Dragons (8-32) closes the standings in the CBA. But the situation may improve as they ended a series of fifteen consecutive loses. This season Ledo has very high stats. He averages 26.9ppg, 8.3rpg, 4.5apg and 2.0spg.

   #3. Experienced Tuukka Kotti (6'9''-PF-81, graduated '05, currently in Finland), who plays in the Finnish Korisliiga could not help Helsinki Seagulls (10-18) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Helsinki Seagulls was edged 74-72 on the road by the second-ranked Kauhajoki. Kotti had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists in 35 minutes. It was Helsinki Seagulls' sixth consecutive loss in a row. Kotti has relatively good stats this year 13.5ppg, 9.4rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2spg in 28 games.

   #4. Jeffrey Xavier (6'3''-PG-85, graduated '09, plays pro in Spain) was not able to help Leyma Basquet Coruna (3-15) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Leyma Basquet Coruna was crushed 87-59 in Bilbao by the second-ranked RETAbet BB. Xavier was the top scorer with 11 points. It's Xavier's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 10.7ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.2apg. Xavier is a naturalized Cape Verdean.
