Here is the weekly review of the top performing Lopes alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Royce Woolridge (6'3''-G-92, graduated '15, plays pro in Slovenia) led Sentjur to a victory against one of league's weakest teams Sencur Gorenjska gradbena druzba Kranj (7-11) 85-72 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM on Tuesday night. He scored 12 points, had 4 boards, handed out 5 passes and blocked 2 shots in 27 minutes. KK Tajfun Sentjur (8-10) is placed eighth in the Liga Nova KBM. This season Woolridge averages 9.2ppg, 6.0rpg, 5.5apg and 1.5spg.

   #2. Dewayne Russell (5'11''-G-94, graduated '17, plays in Germany) contributed to a HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim's victory against the 12th-ranked BBC Bayreuth (9-10) 97-90 in the German BBL in Wednesday night's game. Russell scored 8 points and added 7 assists. HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim (4-16) is placed second from the bottom (#17) in the BBL. It was HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim's first victory after four consecutive loses. It's Russell's first season with the team. This year he averages 9.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 3.8apg in 18 games he played so far.

   #3. Grandy Glaze (6'9''-F-92, graduated '16, currently in Chile), who plays in the Chilean Liga Nacional could not help Los Leones (18-14) to beat Universidad de Concepcion (17-14). He recorded only 4 points and added 3 assists in 14 minutes. The third-placed Los Leones (18-14) was edged 91-89 on the road by the second-ranked Universidad de Concepcion in the Conferencia Centro. It was Los Leones' sixth consecutive loss in a row. Glaze has relatively good stats this season 10.9ppg, 10.1rpg and 2.1apg.

   #4. Fiifi Aidoo (6'2''-PG-96, graduated '18, plays pro in Finland) was not able to help Ura Basket in their game against Kouvot (13-13) in the Finnish Korisliiga. He scored 5 points and added 3 assists. The bottom-ranked Ura Basket lost 98-102 in Kouvola to the higher-ranked (#6) Kouvot. It's Aidoo's first season with the team. Aidoo has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.5apg and 1.6spg in 29 games. He has also Finnish nationality.

   #5. Keonta Vernon (6'6''-F/C-94, graduated '18, plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for Toulouse (9-4) in their game last Saturday. Despite Vernon's very good performance the fourth-placed Toulouse (9-4) was defeated 107-92 at home by the lower-ranked Rueil (#7) in the Group B. He was the top scorer with 20 points. Vernon also added 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 26 minutes. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Vernon has relatively good stats this season 10.5ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.6apg and 1.5spg.
