EuroBasket Pro Seahawks Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Seahawks alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.



   #1. Jonathon Williams (6'6''-F-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Holland) led Den Bosch to a victory over the league outsider BA Limburg (3-21) 79-71 in the Dutch Eredivisie in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Williams scored 25 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 33 minutes. New Heroes Basketball Den Bosch (16-5) is placed third in the Eredivisie. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Williams' first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Williams averages 15.9ppg, 5.1rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg in 18 games he played so far.

   #2. Experienced Durell Vinson (6'8''-C/F-85, graduated '08, plays in Switzerland) could not help one of league's weakest teams Lakers (8-9) in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Vinson's very good performance Lakers were defeated 97-85 on the road by the higher-ranked Monthey (#5). He recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 11 rebounds. Vinson also added 3 assists. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Vinson's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.5ppg, 10.8rpg, 2.7apg and 1.1spg.

   #3. Jojo Cooper (6'0''-G-95, graduated '18, currently in Germany) was the main contributor in Muenster's victory against the fourth-ranked Oldenburg (12-9) 86-78 in the German ProB (third division) on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Cooper scored 31 points (!!!), had 5 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 34 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. WWU Baskets Muenster (15-6) is placed first in North group. It was his team's 14th consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Cooper has relatively good stats this year 13.8ppg, 6.7rpg, 7.1apg and 2.4spg in 21 games.

   #4. Nick Madray (6'9''-F-94, graduated '18, plays pro in United Kingdom) was not able to help DBL Sharks Sheffield in their game against Scorchers (4-16) in the British BBL. Madray recorded only 4 points. DBL Sharks Sheffield was crushed 90-69 in Guildford by the one of league's weakest teams Scorchers (#11). This season Madray averages 3.3ppg and 1.3rpg. He has also Polish passport.

   #5. Orlando Parker (6'8''-F-91, graduated '14, plays in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for PS Karlsruhe Lions (12-11) in their game against Chemnitz (3-13) in the German ProA (second division). Parker scored 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 20 minutes. But PS Karlsruhe Lions was badly defeated 100-82 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked (#11) Chemnitz. Parker has relatively good stats this year 12.0ppg and 6.3rpg in 23 games.

Clayfell Harris (6'8''-C-87, played in 2007-11) plays for Bradford Dragons in British NBL D1
Jermaine Hall (6'5''-SF-80) plays for Maccabi Sderot in Israeli Artzit
Marcus Burton (6'0''-PG-93) played for Team Greece in the Eurobasket S.League few monts ago
