EuroBasket Pro Blue Raiders Weekly Update

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Blue Raiders alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Marcos Knight (6'2''-G-89, graduated '13, plays pro in Germany) led MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg to a 2-point victory over the 13th-ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (7-11) 96-94 in the German BBL in Sunday night's game.
He was MVP of the game. Knight scored 32 points (!!!) and grabbed 7 rebounds in 37 minutes.
MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg (4-10) is placed eighth in the BBL.
It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses.
Knight has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 19.7ppg, 6.8rpg, 3.7apg and 1.8spg in six games he played so far.
#2. Giddy Potts (6'2''-G-95, graduated '18, plays in South Korea) led Inchon ET Land Elephants to a victory over the closely-ranked KT Sonicboom (24-21) 108-104 in the South Korean KBL last Saturday.
He was MVP of the game. Potts scored 43 points (!!!), grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 4 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Inchon ET Land Elephants (31-14) are placed second in the KBL.
This season Potts has very high stats. He averages 19.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.3apg and 1.6spg.
#3. Perrin Buford (6'6''-F-94, graduated '16, currently in Russia), who plays in Russia could not help Avtodor (7-10) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Avtodor lost 100-108 on the road to the lower-ranked (#12) Stelmet Enea BC.
Buford was the top scorer with 22 points. He also added 4 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) in 35 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Buford's third season in pro basketball. It was Avtodor's fourth consecutive loss in a row.
There are only three games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Buford's first year with the team.
He has very impressive stats this season 16.2ppg, 6.9rpg, 2.2apg and 1.4spg in 17 games.
#4. Reggie Upshaw (6'8''-F-95, graduated '17, plays pro in Spain) was not able to help Andorra (10-10) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Andorra was edged 91-90 in Madrid by the higher-ranked Movil Estudiantes (#6).
Upshaw scored 12 points and added 3 passes.
It's Upshaw's first season with the team.
This year he averages 6.5ppg and 3.9rpg.
#5. Shawn Jones (6'8''-PF-92, graduated '14, plays in Israel) contributed to a Hapoel Unet Holon's victory against the eighth-ranked Galil Gilboa (7-11) 85-75 in the Israeli Winner League last Sunday.
He scored 6 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 25 minutes.
Hapoel Unet Holon (14-4) is placed first in the Winner League.
It was his team's 11th consecutive victory in a row.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
It's Jones' first season with the team.
This year Jones averages 6.8ppg and 5.3rpg in 16 games.
He is a naturalized Kosovan.
#6. JaCorey Williams (6'8''-F-94, graduated '17, currently in the NBA G League) was not able to secure a victory for the Canton Charge in their game against the Wisconsin Herd in the NBA G League. Despite his very good performance last Sunday He recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds.
Williams has relatively good stats this season 14.5ppg, 6.7rpg and 2.1apg.
#7. Raymond Cintron Cortes (6'0''-PG-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Puerto Rico) helped his Puerto Rican team Capitanes de Arecibo edge the closely-ranked Leones 94-93 in the Liga Americas in Sunday night's game.
He scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line) in 22 minutes.
This year Cintron Cortes averages 5.7ppg and 3.0rpg in three games.
#8. Experienced Michael Cuffee (6'5''-G-83, graduated '05, plays in Germany) helped HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim win their game against the 12th-ranked BBC Bayreuth 97-90 in the German BBL last Wednesday.
Cuffee scored 10 points.
This season he averages 7.7ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.6apg.
#9. LaRon Dendy (6'9''-C-88, graduated '12, currently in Holland) couldn't help Groningen in their game against Dutch Windmills in the Dutch Eredivisie. He cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones.
Dendy scored only 3 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 15 minutes.
His team was crushed by 29 points 88-59.
This year he averages 3.4ppg and 4.1rpg in seven games.
#10. Bruce Massey (6'3''-G-90, graduated '13, plays pro in Canada) was the major contributor in a 3-point Cape Breton Highlanders' victory against the Moncton Magic 105-102 in the NBL Canada in Thursday night's game.
He scored 21 points and added 5 passes.
This season Massey averages 3.4ppg and 4.1rpg.
