Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Commodores players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Lance Goulbourne (6'8''-F-89, graduated '12, plays pro in Mexico) led Soles de Mexicali to a victory over the third-ranked Aaguacateros (23-15) 80-76 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) in Sunday night's game.
He was MVP of the game. Goulbourne scored 28 points (!!!), had 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 36 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group South. Soles de Mexicaliis placed first.
Goulbourne has relatively good stats this year 14.6ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.8apg in 20 games he played so far.
#2. Jeffery Taylor (6'7''-SF-89, graduated '12, plays in Spain) contributed to a Real Madrid's victory against the closely-ranked Baskonia (14-6) 82-76 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Sunday.
Taylor scored 7 points.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Real Madrid (15-5) is placed second in the Liga Endesa.
It's Taylor's fourth season with the team.
This year he averages 6.3ppg and 1.6rpg.
Taylor is a naturalized Swedish.
#3. John Jenkins (6'4''-G-91, graduated '12, currently in the NBA) was the major contributor in a New York Knicks' victory against the Atlanta Hawks (19-39) 106-91 in the NBA on Thursday night.
Jenkins scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 26 minutes.
The New York Knicks have rather weak 11-47 record this season.
It was his team's first victory after eighteen consecutive loses.
Jenkins has relatively good stats this year 10.5ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.5apg in two games.
#4. Luke Kornet (7'1''-F/C-95, graduated '17, plays pro in the NBA) is a teammate of previously mentioned John Jenkins and both played together in the last NBA game.
Kornet helped New York Knicks win their game against the Atlanta Hawks (19-39) 106-91.
He scored 11 points and had 4 steals.
Kornet has relatively good stats this season 7.4ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.2apg.
#5. Riley Lachance (6'2''-G-96, graduated '18, plays in Poland). He could not help GTK Gliwice (7-12) to beat Polpharma (10-9) in the Polish EBL.
Lachance recorded 9 points in 16 minutes.
But GTK Gliwice was badly defeated 96-80 on the road by the higher-ranked (#7) Polpharma.
Lachance has relatively good stats this year 11.8ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.6apg in 19 games.
#6. AJ Ogilvy (6'11''-C-88, graduated '10, currently in Australia), who plays in the Australian NBL was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Illawarra Hawks (12-16) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Ogilvy's good performance Illawarra Hawks were crushed 130-96 in Auckland by the higher-ranked New Zealand Breakers (#6).
He was the second best scorer with 12 points. Ogilvy also added 4 rebounds.
This season Ogilvy averages 9.7ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1bpg.
He has also Australian nationality.
#7. Jeff Roberson (6'6''-F-96, graduated '18, plays pro in the NBA G League) helped Maine Red Claws edge the Erie Bay Hawks 130-128 in the NBA G League in Wednesday night's game.
Roberson scored 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes.
This year Roberson averages 5.1ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.3apg in 34 games.
#8. Bradley Tinsley (6'3''-G-89, graduated '12, plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Novipiu Casale (11-10) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance the tenth-placed Novipiu Casale was edged 77-76 at home by the leading Virtus Roma in the West group.
Tinsley scored 12 points and added 4 assists.
Tinsley has relatively good stats this season 11.5ppg, 3.8rpg and 3.9apg.
#9. Kyle Fuller (6'1''-PG-92, graduated '14, currently in Brazil) was the main contributor in Corinthians' victory against the league outsider Joinville 92-83 in the Brazilian NBB on Friday night.
Fuller was MVP of the game. He scored 25 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 35 minutes.
Fuller has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 21.7ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.2apg and 1.2spg in 19 games.
Fuller is a naturalized Peruvian.
