NCAA-bound Robert Morris Colonials Capture Eighth NEC Tournament Title - Mar 11, 2015

Robert Morris redeemed last year's title game home loss by upending St. Francis Brooklyn on the road in the 2015 NEC Men's Basketball Championship Game. The Colonials overcame a six-point halftime deficit to defeat the top-seeded Terriers, 66-63, and punch a ticket to the NCAA Tournament. Robert Morris' Rodney Pryor (6'5''-G-92) tallied a team-high 17 points and four steals en-route to capturing the NEC Tournament MVP Award. Pryor, a junior college transfer in his first season with RMU, averaged 14.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game during the Colonials' tournament run. Senior Jalen Cannon (6'6''-F-93), the #NECMBB Player of the Year, recorded a double-double for the Terriers while Tyreek Jewell (6'1''-G) scored a game-high 19 points. Pryor and Cannon joined RMU's Lucky Jones (6'6''-G-93), SFBK's Brent Jones (5'10''-G-92) and Saint Francis U's Earl Brown (6'6''-F-92) on the five-member NEC All-Tournament Team.
