Regular Season Day 6: Atlanta S. - Georgia E. 61-62

A very close game took place in Atlanta between Energy and Savage. Third ranked Energy (4-2) got a very close victory on the road over second-best Savage (4-2). Energy managed to escape with a 1-point win 62-61 in the fight for the second place. Center Reed Braxton notched 13 points to lead the effort and guard Demetrice Terrell (, college: Allen) supported him with 13 points. Even 20 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists by guard Marquis Barnes (183-86, college: Gordon CC) did not help to save the game for Savage. Forward Brandon OBrien (201-90, college: Clark Atlanta) added 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Energy and four Savage players scored in double figures. Energy have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Atlanta S. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
