Atlanta Savage - CP Claws 90-91
Cedar Park Claws clinched UBA 2023 title. They outgunned Atlanta Savage in the decisive second game of the championship series. Claws outrebounded the Savage 50-41 including 14 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 18 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Claws made 10 blocks. 21 personal fouls committed by Savage helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Power Forward Paul Harrison (6'8''-PF-1989, college: NGU) who led his team to a victory scoring 34 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Guard Johari Templin (6'4''-F-1992, college: ENMU) helped adding 14 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists. Four Claw players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Domont'a Wright with 25 points and 14 rebounds and guard Marquis Barnes (6'0''-PG-1986, college: Gordon CC) scored 18 points. Savage' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
