Georgia Spartans 43 - Fort Worth Firm 61

The Fort Worth Firm dominated the Georgia Spartans, 61-43, this marks the second championship in franchise history at Arlington Center in Arlington, Texas on Sunday night. Daylon Guy (6'0''-PG-92, college: Tarleton St.) was named 2018 UBA Finals MVP after scoring a game high 40 points on 16-33 shooting. Guy averaged an impressive 28.9 points per game along with six assists in the playoffs. The Georgia Spartans made their first finals appearance in the teams franchise history.

Georgia Spartans 81- South Carolina Cardinals 66

Finally, the Georgia Spartans have advanced to the UBA finals. After joining the power minor league in 2013; the Spartans have never made it passed the 2nd round of the playoffs.
Now, led by David Tairu (6'2''-G-86, college: Texas Tech) the Spartans are now one step closer to winning a championship. Tairu, the Spartans' top guard, scored 25 points as Georgia took a 81-66 win over the South Carolina Cardinals Saturday night in front of fans at the Arlington Center in the great state of Texas. Mike Turner (6'1''-G-93, college: Oglethorpe) and Chris Hill (6'8''-G/F-90, college: De Paul) added 15 points.

The Spartans play the defending champions Fort Worth FIRM tomorrow at 4pm.

Fort Worth FIRM 71- Texas Rize 52


The defending UBA League champions are moving on to the UBA Finals for the second straight season. The FIRM came into the Arlington Center on Saturday night and beat the fourth-seeded Texas RIze, 71-52, imposing their will defensively, and hitting some timely shots down the stretch. It was Fort Worth FIRM two-way player, Daylon Guy (6'0''-PG-92, college: Tarleton St.), that was in a rhythm from the get-go. Guy started the game off with 11 straight points setting the tone for the FIRM.

Guy was the games top scorer with 28 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. J.R. Duffey added 14 points and 7 rebounds.


UBA announces 2018 All-Star Weekend roster - Jun 13, 2018

The starters for the 2018 UBA All-Star game were announced on Tuesday night and Daylon Guy (6'0''-PG-92, college: Tarleton St.) led all players in votes with 1,300. He was followed by former MVP Jermaine Barnes (6'4''-G/F-83, college: Point, GA) with 1,250.

The starters - chosen by the owners from May. 1 to June 1 - are made up of two backcourt and three frontcourt representatives for both conferences. The reserve players, voted in by UBA coaches, was be announced today, June 13., and the game itself will take place during UBA All-Star Weekend on Sunday, June 17 to honor and celebrate all fathers.
