Regular Season Day 4: Georgia E. - Atlanta Ice 93-88

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Ice (1-3) against fourth ranked Energy (2-2) on Sunday night. Visiting Ice was defeated by Energy in a tough game on the road 88-93. The winners were led by guard Stevante Cromer (185, college: S.Crescent Tech) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and center Shawn Jones supported him with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds by forward Dominique Holmes (198-84, college: SPSU) did not help to save the game for Ice. Josh White added 17 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Four Ice players scored in double figures. Energy moved-up to third place, which they share with Atlanta K. Ice lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Energy's next round opponent will be Kings (#3) in Atlanta, which may be the game of the day. Ice will play at home against the league's leader GIE Maile Matrix and hope to win that game.
