Tobin Carberry (6'4''-G-91, played in 2009-10, plays pro in Denmark) led his Danish team Bakken to a victory over the fourth-ranked Leiden (0-2) crushing them 111-71 in the FIBA Europe Cup in Wednesday night's game. Carberry was MVP of the game. He recorded 22 points and added 5 assists in 23 minutes. Bakken Bears (1-1) is placed second in group L. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the FIBA Europe Cup Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. Carberry has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.3ppg, 5.6rpg, 5.4apg and 1.6spg in seven games he played so far. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
#2. Jesper Sandager (6'5''-G-96, graduated '18, plays in Denmark). He could not help Wolfpack/BMS (3-7) to beat Randers (6-5) in the Danish BasketLigaen. Sandager scored 7 points. The second-placed Wolfpack/BMS (3-7) was crushed 107-78 at home by the lower-ranked Randers (#5) in the ProB group. This season Sandager averages 6.9ppg and 2.1rpg.
