#1. Dishon Lowery (6'7''-C-1998, played in 2018-20, plays pro in Chile) could not help Valdivia (5-19) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Valdivia was crushed94-66 on the road by the much higher-ranked (#3) CD Espanol Osorno. Lowery had a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 13 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) in 30 minutes. Lowery has relatively good stats this year 14.2ppg, 9.3rpg and 1.2spg in 22 games he played so far.
#2. Kevin Franceschi (6'4''-G-1993, played in 2015-15, plays in France) led Lorient to a victory over the fourth-ranked Feurs (11-8) crushing them 103-81 in the French NM1 (third division) last Tuesday. Franceschi was MVP of the game. He scored 22 points. CEP Lorient Basket (4-3) is placed third in Relegation group. It's Franceschi's first season with the team. Franceschi has relatively good stats this year 13.9ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.7apg. He has also French citizenship.
#3. Steven Green (6'5''-G-1993, played in 2015-17, currently in Japan), who plays in the Japanese B3 League was not able to help Kanazawa (16-30) in their last game. Despite Green's very good performance Kanazawa was edged75-73 at home by the higher-ranked (#10) Gambarous. He was the top scorer with 20 points. Green also added 7 rebounds in 31 minutes. It's Green's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Green averages 21.2ppg, 7.1rpg, 3.0apg and 1.4spg in 45 games.
#4. Nigel Wilcox (6'6''-F, played in 2020-23, plays pro in the TBL) was not able to secure a victory for the Savannah Buccaneers (3-3) in their game against the Raleigh Firebirds (4-2) in the TBL. Wilcox recorded 7 points. It was his first game for Savannah Buccaneers this season. The Savannah Buccaneers (#3) were crushed116-83 in Raleigh by the Firebirds. It was Buccaneers' first loss after three consecutive victories. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
