#1. Koen Sapwell (6'4''-G-1999, played in 2015-19, plays pro in Australia) was the major contributor in a Southern Districts Spartans' victory against the 12th-ranked Northside Wizards (7-9) 90-85 in the Australian NBL One (second division) in Sunday night's game. He scored 18 points and added 5 assists in 38 minutes. Southern Districts Spartans (11-5) are placed fifth in North group. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Sapwell has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 25.4ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.0apg and 2.2spg in 17 games he played so far.
#2. Andrew Ferguson (7'0''-C-1998, played in 2020-22, plays in Australia) led Perry Lakes Hawks to a 1-point victory against the second-ranked Tigers (14-3) 95-94 in the Australian NBL One (second division) last Friday. Ferguson recorded 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group West. Perry Lakes Hawks (15-3) are placed . There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Ferguson has relatively good stats this season 13.3ppg, 5.8rpg and 2.3apg.
#3. Noah Todd (6'6''-F/G-2003, graduated '2023, currently in Australia), who plays in the Australian NBL One (second division) could not help Eltham Wildcats (10-9) to beat Ballarat Miners (9-10). He scored 9 points in 18 minutes. But the eighth-placed Eltham Wildcats (10-9) lost 68-82 on the road to the lower-ranked (#10) Ballarat Miners in the South group. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Todd averages 2.0ppg and 1.3rpg in 17 games.
#4. Brian Garrett (6'4''-G, played in 2017-18, plays pro in Thailand) led Pythons to a victory over the league outsider Mammoth (0-2) 88-70 in the Thailand TBL in Sunday night's game. Garrett was MVP of the game. He scored 27 points (!!!), made 3 passes and 3 steals. Pathum Thani Pythons (1-1) are placed fifth in the TBL. This season Garrett has very high stats. He averages 26.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 4.0apg and 1.5spg. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
