Best performed former St. Cloud State University players in pro basketball in last week games

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Huskies players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Maltese Joshua Tomasi, a 26-year-old forward standing at 6'10'' who graduated from St. Cloud St. in 2022 and currently plays professionally in Australia, played a pivotal role in the Sturt Sabres' thrilling 84-81 victory over the seventh-ranked Central District Lions in the Australian NBL One, the second division of Australian basketball, last Sunday. In this game, he showcased his talent by scoring 17 points, securing 8 rebounds, making 5 assists, and contributing 3 steals in 29 minutes on the court.
The Sturt Sabres, with a record of 10-2, currently hold the third position in the Central group standings. Tomasi's exceptional performance against the Central District Lions solidified his status as the game's champion, as his impressive stats significantly influenced the outcome of the match.
Throughout the season, Tomasi has maintained high averages of 15.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game in the 12 games he has played so far. His remarkable year has highlighted his skill set and contribution to the team's success.
Additionally, it is noteworthy that Tomasi holds dual American and Maltese citizenship, allowing him to potentially play in Malta as a domestic player, showcasing his versatility and international background.
#2. Norwegian basketball champion Andrija Blatancic, a 30-year-old forward standing at 6'8'' and an alum of the Huskies class of 2020, showcased his skills in Italy's Serie B Nazionale (third division) last Tuesday. Playing professionally in Italy, Blatancic led Dany Basket Quarrata to a significant 87-79 victory over the 17th-ranked Monferrato team, contributing 11 points in just 16 minutes of play. His performance, which also included 2 rebounds and 1 assist, was instrumental in securing the win for his team and propelling them to the top as the champion.
Despite Dany Basket Quarrata's current position as 18th in Group B, Blatancic's standout gameplay has been a consistent highlight throughout the season. With impressive statistics of 10.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game over 21 matches, he has proven to be a valuable asset on the court. Additionally, it is worth noting that Blatancic holds Croatian citizenship, adding to the international flair of his basketball journey.
