We bring you last week's top former Trojans players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. BJ Fitzgerald, a 6'6'' guard who graduated from Virginia St. in 2023 and received the All-CIAA First Team award that same year, is currently showcasing his talent as a professional basketball player in the Dominican Republic. In a recent game, Fitzgerald played a vital role in leading his team, Indios de San Francisco, to a remarkable 101-87 victory over the closely-ranked Heroes. Despite it being only his third season in professional basketball, Fitzgerald displayed an impressive performance by scoring 16 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and dishing out 9 assists in 37 minutes of play. This standout performance occurred during a crucial matchup between two top 4 ranked teams, solidifying Fitzgerald's reputation as a champion. With Indios de San Francisco currently sitting at the top of the league with an impressive record of 11-2, Fitzgerald's contributions on the court have been instrumental in his team's success. This recent win marked their fourth consecutive victory, highlighting the team's strong form heading into the final stretch of the Regular Season. With only three games remaining before the end of the season, each game becomes increasingly critical for teams vying for playoff contention. Fitzgerald's individual performance this season has been exceptional, averaging 18.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game over the course of 13 games. His consistent high-level play has not only elevated his own game but has also propelled his team towards success, further establishing him as a finalist in the league.

#2. Jamal Washington, a 6'2'' guard who graduated in 2020, currently plays professionally in the ECBL. In a recent game, he led the Park City Dreamers to a thrilling 114-111 victory over the Goldsboro Wings, securing their fourth consecutive win. Washington was named the MVP of the game after recording an impressive stat line of 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Despite Washington's outstanding performance, the Park City Dreamers have struggled this season, holding a 5-7 record. With only one more game left in the East Coast Basketball League Regular Season, every game is crucial for the team. This season marks Washington's first year with the Park City Dreamers, where he has showcased his skills by averaging 17.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.9 steals per game in the 11 games he has played so far.
