We bring you last week's top former Buffaloes players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Experienced Greek player Nikolaos Stylianou, who stands at 6'6'' and is 37 years old, graduated from WTAM in 2009 and currently plays professionally in Cyprus. In a recent game, he played a key role in Keravnos' victory over the league leader AEK Larnaca, with a final score of 75-68 in the Cypriot ECOMMBX Basket League on Saturday night. This matchup was highly anticipated as it featured two of the top 4 ranked teams in the league, with Keravnos Strovolou (21-2) holding the second position. Stylianou, a seven-season veteran with the team, showcased his skills on the court by contributing 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists during the game. His performance was instrumental in securing the win for his team, highlighting his abilities as a true champion. Throughout the season, Stylianou has been averaging 7.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, further solidifying his role as a key player for Keravnos. It is noteworthy that Stylianou holds both American and Greek citizenship, allowing him to play in Greece as a domestic player. His experience and talent make him a valuable asset to any team, and his recent display of skill against AEK Larnaca reaffirms his status as a formidable finalist.

#2. Australian champion Austin Shelley, a 6'3'' guard and 24-year-old alum of the Buffaloes from 2022, who helped them to win the LSC Tournament that year, is currently playing professionally in Australia. Recently, he played a key role in the Frankston Blues' victory against the seventh-ranked Thunder with a score of 104-100 in the Australian NBL One, the second division of Australian basketball, on Saturday night. Shelley showcased his skills by scoring 18 points and providing 7 assists, including a perfect 6-for-6 performance from the free-throw line, all in 34 minutes of play. This impressive performance contributed significantly to the team's win. The Frankston Blues, with a record of 6-4, currently hold the sixth position in the South group standings. In a standout game against Keilor T., Shelley once again proved his value by scoring 18 points, securing 1 rebound, and distributing 7 assists, ultimately leading his team to another victory. His exceptional contributions on the court were instrumental in securing the win. Throughout the season, Shelley has maintained high statistics, averaging 17.2 points per game, along with 1.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists. His consistent performance and valuable contributions make him a standout champion in the Australian basketball scene.

#3. Australian Isaac Ayoubi, a 5'10'' point guard who graduated from WTAM in 2025 and currently plays professionally in Australia, found himself unable to lift the Rockhampton Rockets (0-3) to victory in their recent game. Despite Ayoubi's commendable performance, scoring 13 points and securing 3 rebounds in 30 minutes of play, the 12th-placed Rockhampton Rockets were ultimately defeated 85-79 on the road by the Capitals, who hold the #3 spot in the North group standings. Although the Rockets faced a tough loss, it is important to remember that it is still early in the season, and there is plenty of time for the team to bounce back and improve their standing. Ayoubi showcased his skills as a champion on the court, displaying an impressive performance by contributing 13 points against Brisbane C. Despite his individual success, the team fell short of securing a victory in the game. Ayoubi has been maintaining solid statistics this season, averaging 14.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. With his talent and contributions, Ayoubi remains a key player for the Rockhampton Rockets as they strive to turn their season around and make a strong push towards success.

#4. Australian champion Harrison Evans, a 7'0'' center and 21-year-old Buffaloes alumnus from 2025, currently playing professionally in Australia, recently competed for Hornsby Ku-ring-Gai Spiders in the Australian NBL One second division. In a match against the formidable Norths Bears, the top team in the East group with a record of 9-1, Evans contributed 5 points and 1 rebound in just 11 minutes of play. Despite his efforts, the Spiders, who are ranked 15th with a 1-7 record, fell short against the Bears, ultimately losing 102-96 in Crows Nest. Evans, the promising young talent, is averaging 4.8 points per game and 2.7 rebounds per game this season. Although he gave his best on the court, his team was unable to secure the victory against the Norths Bears. The experienced champion showcased his skills and determination, but the final result did not go in favor of the Hornsby Ku-ring-Gai Spiders.
