Every week we bring you a list of the top former Rattlers players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Australian champion Lachlan Bofinger, a 6'7'' forward, is a 25-year-old standout who graduated from St. Mary's, TX in 2025 and received the All-LSC First Team award that year. Currently playing professionally in Australia, Bofinger recently led the Northern Suburbs Bears to a thrilling victory against the 15th-ranked Spiders with a score of 102-96 in the Australian NBL One, the country's second division, on Sunday night.
In a remarkable performance, Bofinger achieved a double-double by scoring 17 points and grabbing 16 rebounds while also contributing 3 assists during his 34 minutes on the court. This exceptional display is especially noteworthy as Bofinger is in his debut season in professional basketball. The Northern Suburbs Bears, sitting at the top of the East group with a 9-1 record, secured their third consecutive victory under Bofinger's leadership.
His standout performance against the HKBA Spiders not only included his impressive stat line but also led to the team's success. As a result, Bofinger was honored with the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, further solidifying his reputation as a champion player. Individually, Bofinger is having an outstanding season with impressive averages of 15.8 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.
#2. In a recent game, Diego Pellot, a 24-year-old guard standing at 6'1'' and an alum of the Rattlers from 2025, showcased his skills for the Capitanes de Arecibo in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional. Despite scoring only 4 points in 16 minutes, Pellot played a crucial role in leading his team to a 92-81 victory over the third-ranked Santeros. This match was considered the highlight of the round as it featured two top 3 ranked teams in Group A, with Capitanes de Arecibo currently holding the second position with a record of 12-4.
This win marked the fourth consecutive victory for Pellot's team, demonstrating their strong performance in the league. In a previous game against Aguada, Pellot contributed 4 points and 1 assist, aiding his team in securing the win and ultimately becoming the champion. Throughout the season, Pellot has maintained an average of 5.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game, showcasing his versatility and valuable contributions to the team.
