We bring you last week's top former Silverswords players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Japanese Champion Kojima-Donley, a towering 6'6'' forward at 29 years old, is a Chaminade graduate from 2020 who received the prestigious PacWest All-Tournament Team award that year. Currently playing professionally in Japan, he recently found himself unable to lift his team, the Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano, to victory in their latest game. Despite his stellar performance, the top-ranked Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano suffered a tough 83-90 defeat on the road against the Firebonds, who are second in the East group.
In the match, Kojima-Donley emerged as the team's second-best scorer, contributing 16 points and 6 rebounds in 35 minutes of play. This loss marked Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano's first defeat following a streak of six consecutive wins. Despite his commendable efforts, Kojima-Donley's standout performance against Fukushima, where he scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, was not enough to secure the victory for his team.
Throughout this season, the accomplished finalist Kojima-Donley has maintained solid averages of 9.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game across the 64 games he has participated in so far.
