Here is the weekly review of the top performing Huskies alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Gage Davis-McMurrin, a 6'5'' guard who graduated from St. Cloud St. in 2019 and received the All-NSIC Player of the Year award that same year, is currently playing professionally in Mexico. In a recent game, he led Ostioneros de Guaymas to a surprising victory over the second-ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon with a score of 107-90 in the Mexican Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacifico. Davis-McMurrin's exceptional performance earned him the title of MVP of the game, as he contributed 25 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 30 minutes on the court. Despite Ostioneros de Guaymas being placed ninth in the league with an 11-17 record, Davis-McMurrin's leadership and skill were instrumental in securing this important win, which was the team's first victory after a string of five consecutive losses. His remarkable display of scoring, rebounding, and playmaking against Obregon highlighted his prowess as a true champion on the basketball court. Throughout the season, Davis-McMurrin has consistently delivered outstanding performances, boasting impressive averages of 20.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in the 22 games he has played so far. His stellar contributions have undoubtedly elevated his team and solidified his reputation as a top-tier player and finalist in the league.

#2. Maltese champion Joshua Tomasi, a towering 6'10'' forward at 26 years old and a Huskies alum from 2022, showcased his skills as he led Sturt Sabres to a resounding victory against the ninth-ranked Rockets (1-4), with a decisive 114-92 win in the Australian NBL One, the second division, during Friday night's game. Tomasi displayed his prowess on the court by scoring 19 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists in just 26 minutes of play. With this outstanding performance, Tomasi not only helped secure the victory for his team but also solidified his position as the finalist of the game. Sturt Sabres (5-0) currently holds the top spot in the Central group, having won all five games in the Regular Season. However, despite their early success, the season is still in its infancy, and anything can happen as the competition progresses. Tomasi has been having an exceptional year individually, boasting impressive statistics with an average of 15.6 points per game, 9.6 rebounds per game, and 3.0 assists per game over the course of five games. It is noteworthy that Tomasi holds dual American and Maltese citizenship, allowing him the flexibility to play in Malta as a domestic player as well.

#3. Spanish player Sean Smith, a 6'9'' forward who is 30 years old and graduated from St. Cloud St. in 2019, currently competes professionally in France. Recently, he guided Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket to a convincing 96-77 victory over the closely-ranked Nantes in the French ELITE 2, the second division of French basketball. In this game, he showcased his skills by scoring 14 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and providing 3 assists in 31 minutes of play. Despite Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket being placed ninth in the league with a record of 18-16, Smith's exceptional performance against Nantes demonstrated his value to the team. With only four games remaining in the Regular Season, each matchup becomes crucial for the team's standings. Smith's contributions on the court, both offensively and defensively, exemplified the qualities of a true champion. Throughout the current season, Smith has maintained solid averages of 8.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game, the third-best in the league, across 34 games. His consistent performance and leadership make him a key player for Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket as they strive for success in the league.

#4. Danish Adam Heede-Andersen, a 6'2'' guard and 29-year-old alum of the Huskies from 2019, currently plays professionally in Denmark. In a recent game, he showcased his skills for Svendborg, but unfortunately, they were unable to overcome Randers in the Danish BasketLigaen. Despite Heede-Andersen's solid performance of 9 points and 7 assists in 24 minutes of play, Svendborg, ranked third with a record of 23-9, suffered a 96-78 defeat on the road against the fifth-placed Randers in the Places 1-6 group. The loss highlights the competitiveness of the league as the season nears its end, with only three games remaining in the Second Stage. Each game becomes crucial for teams like Svendborg looking to secure their position in the standings. Heede-Andersen's individual stats for the season reflect his contributions to the team, with averages of 8.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game across 31 appearances. Despite the setback against Randers, his consistent performance throughout the season showcases his importance as a key player for Svendborg.

#5. His consistent performance and strategic gameplay continue to position him as a key player for his team, further solidifying his role as a finalist.

#6. Norwegian player Andrija Blatancic, a 6'8'' forward who is 30 years old and an alum of the Huskies from 2020, currently plays professional basketball in Italy. In a recent game, he was unable to help his team, Quarrata, who are ranked 18th, as they suffered a 72-83 defeat at home to the higher-ranked (#17) Pesaro Loreto in Group B. Despite his commendable performance, with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist in 23 minutes, Quarrata could not secure the win. Blatancic has been displaying solid statistics this season, averaging 10.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game in 13 appearances. It is worth noting that he holds a Croatian passport in addition to his Norwegian nationality.
